Abstract: The technology provides for an electronic device. The electronic device includes a housing, a display cover, and a modular component configured to provide a seal between the housing to the display cover. The modular component is configured to be attached to the housing. Further, the modular component includes a first surface configured to be attached to the display cover. The modular component includes a channel extending along the first surface, where the channel is configured to hold a liquid adhesive that bonds with the display cover. The modular component further includes a radial protrusion disposed on the first surface, the radial protrusion is configured to be in contact with the display cover when the display cover is attached to the housing and to prevent the liquid adhesive from moving out of the channel.

Abstract: In a communication apparatus, an analog circuit includes a circuit element to be connected to a first conductor, and processes a differential signal. Abstract: A door system includes a door jamb, a door panel including a box disposed therealong, a hinge coupling an edge of the door panel to the door jamb, a flexible conduit extending from the door jamb to the edge of the door panel, and a plurality of electronic components. The flexible conduit is configured to facilitate electrically coupling one or more of the plurality of electronic components to an external power source. The plurality of electronic components include a camera disposed within the box, a light integrated into the door jam, a sensor configured to facilitate detecting at least one of sound or activity proximate the door panel, and a backup battery disposed within at least one of the door jamb or the door panel. The backup battery is configured to power at least one of the plurality of electronic components during power loss from the external power source.

Abstract: A circuit board assembly is applied to the field of electronic communications technologies to resolve a prior-art heat dissipation problem of a circuit board. The circuit board assembly combines, on a second circuit board, low-speed signals transmitted between a plurality of I/O modules and an IC chip, and then transmits the combined low-speed signals to the IC chip by using a low-speed cable. A low-speed signal sent by the IC chip to the plurality of I/O modules is extended to a plurality of low-speed signals on the second circuit board, and then the plurality of low-speed signals are separately sent to the plurality of I/O modules. This may be applied to a scenario in which a relatively large quantity of electronic components need to be disposed on a circuit board.

Abstract: A method for controlling an output of an energy module of a modular energy system is disclosed. The modular energy system includes a header module, the energy module, and a secondary module communicably coupled together. The energy module configured to provide an output driving an energy modality deliverable by a surgical instrument connected thereto. The method includes causing the energy module to provide the output driving the energy modality delivered by the surgical instrument; sensing a parameter associated with the secondary module; receiving the parameter as sensed by the secondary module at the energy module; and adjusting the output of the energy module from a first state to a second state according to the received parameter.

Abstract: An energy module for driving electrosurgical and/or ultrasonic surgical instruments is disclosed. The energy module can include an amplifier assembly that is configured to drive a variety of different energy modalities for one or more surgical instruments connected thereto. The energy module can further include a relay assembly for selectively coupling one or more of the amplifiers to different ports to which the surgical instruments are connectable. The amplifier assembly can include amplifiers for driving ultrasonic, bipolar, and/or monopolar energy.
