Abstract: A crawler drive for an agricultural work machine, comprising front and rear main wheels, front and rear main frames associated with each respective main wheel, two support wheels, a running belt surrounding the two main wheels, and an articulation point through which the crawler drive is pivotably connected to a body of the agricultural work machine. The two main frames are coupled to one another to pivot about a common pivot axle, the support wheels are arranged on a common support frame, and the support frame is pivotably connected to the front main frame via a support wheel swing arm. The crawler drive further comprises a damping device with at least one piston-cylinder unit and hydraulically acting pressure device. The piston-cylinder unit is coupled at a swing arm end to the support wheel swing arm and at a frame end to the rear main frame.

Abstract: A method for operating an agricultural vehicle, the method including: generating an overdrive torque at a drive wheel motor of at least one ground drive system; transmitting the overdrive torque to the engine via a hydraulic ground drive circuit and a ground drive pump, to thereby bias the engine to operate at an increased rotation speed; measuring an engine rotation speed; comparing the engine rotation speed to a threshold value; and upon determining that the engine rotation speed satisfies the threshold value, operating the auxiliary hydraulic component of an auxiliary hydraulic system to generate a braking torque at a respective auxiliary pump, and transmitting each the braking torque to the engine to bias the engine to operate at a decreased rotation speed. An agricultural vehicle having a control system to perform the method is also provided.

Abstract: A cleaning system for an agricultural sprayer may include a sprayer boom, a plurality of nozzle assemblies provided in association with the sprayer boom and configured to dispense an agricultural product during a spraying operation of the agricultural sprayer, a first cleaning fluid tank configured to hold a first cleaning fluid, and a nozzle assembly fluid circuit fluidly coupling the plurality of nozzle assemblies and the first cleaning fluid tank. Moreover, the cleaning system may include a cleaning station supported on the sprayer boom, the cleaning station comprising a first valve. Additionally, the cleaning system may include a first cleaning fluid circuit fluidly coupling the first valve and the first cleaning fluid tank. The first valve is configured to supply the first cleaning fluid therethrough when the first valve is in an open position.

Abstract: A fan control system for a variable pitch fan of a work vehicle includes a first sensor that measures a parameter of a cooling system and a blade pitch module that adjust a pitch of a plurality of blades of the variable pitch fan to generate airflow in a first direction. A reversing module selectively commands a fan reversal that includes instructing the blade pitch module to temporarily adjust the pitch of the plurality of blades to generate airflow in a second direction. A first timer module, in response to the reversing module commanding the fan reversal, resets and increments a first timer and compares the first timer to a first threshold. A first reversal prevention module, in response to the first timer being less than the first threshold, prevents the reversing module from commanding a fan reversal by indicating that a first type of fan reversal is not permitted.

Abstract: One or more information maps are obtained by an agricultural work machine. The one or more information maps map one or more agricultural characteristic values at different geographic locations of a field. An in-situ sensor on the agricultural work machine senses an agricultural characteristic as the agricultural work machine moves through the field. A predictive map generator generates a predictive map that predicts a predictive agricultural characteristic at different locations in the field based on a relationship between the values in the one or more information maps and the agricultural characteristic sensed by the in-situ sensor. The predictive map can be output and used in automated machine control.

Abstract: A tensioning bar assembly for a drive system of an agricultural machine includes a longitudinal bar having a top end, a bottom end, and a threaded portion. An attachment device is coupled to the top end to attach to a tensioning arm. A compression spring is located around a portion of the longitudinal bar. A first spring retainer engages with and retains a first end of the spring.
