    Abstract: A crawler drive for an agricultural work machine, comprising front and rear main wheels, front and rear main frames associated with each respective main wheel, two support wheels, a running belt surrounding the two main wheels, and an articulation point through which the crawler drive is pivotably connected to a body of the agricultural work machine. The two main frames are coupled to one another to pivot about a common pivot axle, the support wheels are arranged on a common support frame, and the support frame is pivotably connected to the front main frame via a support wheel swing arm. The crawler drive further comprises a damping device with at least one piston-cylinder unit and hydraulically acting pressure device. The piston-cylinder unit is coupled at a swing arm end to the support wheel swing arm and at a frame end to the rear main frame.

    Abstract: A tensioning bar assembly for a drive system of an agricultural machine includes a longitudinal bar having a top end, a bottom end, and a threaded portion. An attachment device is coupled to the top end to attach to a tensioning arm. A compression spring is located around a portion of the longitudinal bar. A first spring retainer engages with and retains a first end of the spring. A first locking nut fits to the threaded portion of the bar and retains the first spring retainer longitudinally in place relative to the bar. The longitudinal bar is rotationally freely coupled to the attachment device to permit free axial rotation of the bar about its longitudinal axis relative to the attachment device, and an engagement head is attached to and located at or proximate the bottom end of the longitudinal bar for engagement with a tool.

    Abstract: A harvester comprising: a drive engine connected via a first drive train to ground engagement equipment of the harvester and via a second drive train to crop processing equipment of the harvester; an actuator configured to adjust the transmission ratio of the first drive train to control the propulsion speed of the harvester; and a controller configured to receive setpoint and actual values dependent on the crop throughput of the harvester, the controller configured to calculate an acceleration signal based on the setpoint and actual values, the acceleration signal representing an acceleration of the harvester suitable for minimizing the difference between the setpoint and actual values, and to determine a control signal for controlling the actuator based on the acceleration signal.
