摘要： A storage device for a fishing lure includes a spool having a longitudinal axis extending between first and second ends. A flange extends radially from the first end of the spool and includes a circumferential edge extending between first and second sides. A slot extends radially from the edge toward the longitudinal axis. A recess extends radially from the edge between the first and second sides. The slot receives a line of the lure so that a connecting element at a first end of the line is disposed at the first side of the flange. The spool receives a length of the line so that the line is wrapped about the spool. The recess receives a hook at a second end of the line to secure the second end relative to the spool when the connecting element is disposed at the flange and the line is wrapped about the spool.

The sub-compartments are vertically oriented within the main compartment. Each sub-compartment has a bottom that is positioned above a bottom of the container so as to form a drainage area below the sub-compartments. Each sub-compartment may drain through an opening in the sub-compartment bottom. The container includes a leader storage area above all of the sub-compartments for storage of leaders attached to individual fishing lures. The container may include a drain for draining water from the drainage area. The container may also include a hose fitting for flushing the container with fresh water.

摘要： A tackle box equipped with a fishing rod holder, configured to facilitate the resting of a fishing pole, even while in use, in a secure manner is described. The tackle box is equipped with an extendable support, equipped with a location in which an end of a handle of the fishing rod or pole may be placed. A rest is configured to extend up and away from a top and side of the tackle box, functioning as a fulcrum to aid the stability of the tackle box when holding a rod in an upright position. The rest is equipped with a V-shaped cutout in which a midsection of the handle of the fishing pole may securely rest. A lip of the extendable support maintains contact with the pole, counteracting the force applied to the rod by the fish, preventing the pole from toppling over. Weight of the tacklebox itself is employed to counteract the force exerted on the rod by the fish to maintain stability.
