Abstract: A system for fumigating soil includes applying a fumigant film component and an underlying drip tape element to the soil to be treated. A non-tarp method can also be used through permanently buried drip tape (SDI) that is at least 8 inches deep and utilizes the soil above as the barrier to prevent the fumigant from escaping. The drip tape element is communicably connected through a throttle valve to a pressurized liquid supply of fumigant having a low boiling point and a high vapor pressure. The valve is opened to dispense vaporized fumigant into the soil and dissipation of the fumigant is controlled so that more effective soil fumigation is achieved.

Abstract: A clasp hanger includes a hanger hook including an elongated part. The hanger hook has a hanger hook section and a neck section opposite the hook section. The neck section is expandable to allow the clasp hanger to be quickly hung on a support object such as a branch. The clasp hanger further includes an object attachment device attached to the neck section of the hanger hook. This object attachment device is configured for attaching an object such as one configured to dispense a chemical or formulation useful in pest management. The hanger hook, and object attachment device are disposed such that, after the support object is pushed through the neck, the hanger hook automatically rotates such that the support object is disposed at an interior part of the hanger hook that is away from the neck section. This prevents the support object from passing back through the neck section.

Abstract: In a method for treating soil at a work site, a first pressure application tool is connected to a base unit and moved relative thereto along a first area of the work site adjacent a structure and operated to inject soil treatment down into the soil along the first area of the work site. A second pressure application tool is interchanged with the first pressure application tool and moved relative to the base unit along a second area of the work site adjacent the structure and different from the first area of the work site. The second pressure application tool is operated to apply soil treatment to the soil along the second area of the work site.
