摘要: A marker system includes an enclosure with a controller therewithin. Emitters are electrically interfaced to the controller and include visible wavelength emitters and infrared wavelength emitters. The controller is configured to selectively initiate a flow of electric current though the visible wavelength emitters or through the infrared wavelength emitters causing the visible wavelength emitters or the infrared wavelength emitters to emit light and the light passes through the enclosure. There is at least one infrared detector, each of which is electrically interfaced to the controller and each of which is configured to detect infrared light that enters the enclosure. When the controller receives an electrical signal from any of the at least one infrared detector indicating reception of infrared light, the controller emits a signal to warn of the reception of infrared light (e.g., an audible signal, a vibration, a wireless signal, a wired signal).

摘要: An illuminating headwear device and kit are shown and described. The illuminating headwear device and kit includes a headwear device. The headwear device is configured to removably secure about the head of an individual. The headwear devices also include a power source. The power source is coupled to at least one light. The at least one light is secured to the headwear device such that the light is pointed in a direction which will, at least partially, illuminate the individual's shoulders, torso, and back when the headwear device is worn. In one instance an on/off switch will allow for the at least one light be turned on and off. The kit further includes an illumination garment. The illumination garment will glow when the beam from the at least one light hits it.

摘要: A helmet safety system comprises a first set of sensors coupled to a helmet, a second set of sensors coupled to a vehicle, and one or more microcontrollers coupled to the first and second sets of sensors. The one or more microcontrollers can receive sensor data from the first and second sets of sensors and determine, based on the sensor data, that a user is using the bicycle but not wearing the helmet. Responsive to determining that the user is using the bicycle without wearing the helmet, the one or more microcontrollers perform remedial actions, such as disabling or limiting a functionality of the bicycle, emitting an alarm or alert, sending a notification to a first device of the user reminding the user to wear the helmet, and sending a notification to a second device indicating that the user is using the bicycle without wearing the helmet.

摘要: A helmet assembly includes a face shield and a single, center top mounting arrangement that operatively connects a center top location of the face shield to a center front mount on the helmet. The face shield can be raised and lowered about a pivot axis provided in the mounting arrangement between a tilted up, non-use position and a lowered, deployed position. The mounting arrangement can include a detent and two recesses, wherein the detent engages a first recess at a slightly forwardly displaced position to allow ventilation between the helmet and mandible and the face shield and a second recess at the tilted up, non-use position. The recess and detent engagement can be overcome by easy manual force acting on the face shield to reposition the face shield.

摘要: An improved design for a helmet to reduce injuries caused by helmet-to-helmet collisions. Certain embodiments include novel quick release features that permit the detachment of a facemask from a helmet in 30 seconds or less so as to attend to an injured player in a rapid fashion. Other aspects relate to impact energy absorbing constructions employing an inner layer, an outer layer spaced apart from the inner padding layer, at least one layer that includes an array of polygonal structures, and at least one layer having a shock-absorbing elastomer, a visco-elastic polymer, an impact dispersing gel, or shape memory material. Still other embodiments include a wireless device with a sensor module coupled to the football helmet generating sensor data in response to an impact to the football helmet.

摘要: The invention relates to a protective helmet, and in particular, to a protective motorcycle helmet, comprising an antenna (1) for radio transmission, an outer shell (2) for distributing impact forces, an inner layer (3), which is accommodated by the outer shell (2), for damping impact forces, and a socket (4), which is firmly connected to the outer shell (2), for contacting a digital device (5) for wireless communication, wherein the socket (4), when contacting the digital device (5), electrically connects the latter to the antenna (1) for wireless communication. The protective helmet is characterized in that at least a partial layer of the outer shell (2) is disposed between the antenna (1) and the inner layer (3).
