In an aspect a cleaning belt element is configured to rotate a cleaning belt in a continuous loop around a first rotating cylinder and a second rotating cylinder wherein the first rotating cylinder and the second rotating cylinder are connected by the cleaning belt. In another aspect, a containment element is configured to receive the footwear item wherein the containment element comprises a shroud, one or more bristle protruding from at least one inside wall of the shroud, and a transparent floor layer wherein the received footwear item rests. In yet another aspect, an ultraviolet light element is configured to emit ultraviolet light from an ultraviolet light source wherein the ultraviolet light source is located below the transparent floor layer.

摘要： A cleaning system is attached to a door pocket of a vehicle and allows, via a spinning brush head, to clean the outer surfaces of a person's footwear prior to stepping into the vehicle. The system uses a brush that has a handle and a rotating brush head powered by a motor within the handle. The handle is attached, via a clip or similar system, to the door pocket. The motor is powered either via a battery within the handle or via the vehicle's battery and is controlled either via a switch on the handle or via the door depression switch that detects whether the door of the vehicle is open or closed, or both.

摘要： A shoe cleaning apparatus for use with a vehicle includes a brush assembly having at least one brush unit thereon. A mounting arm includes a first end extending from the brush assembly and a second end selectively coupled to a hitch receiver of the vehicle in an installed position. The mounting arm further includes a hinge for moving the brush assembly between an operating position and a storage position. The mounting arm includes an upper portion coupled to the hitch receiver and a lower portion laterally offset from the upper portion toward a ground surface. The lower portion is coupled to the brush assembly. The hinge is disposed on the lower portion of the mounting arm. A stepped portion extends perpendicularly between the upper portion and the lower portion. The brush assembly rotates from a substantially parallel relationship with the ground surface in the operating position to an upright position substantially perpendicular to the ground surface in the storage position.

摘要： An apparatus for washing an article includes a container defining an internal chamber configured to receive the article, an inflow connector connectable to a source of pressurized fluid, a filter member disposed within the internal chamber between a base of the container and the inflow connector, and a lid sealingly engagable with an open upper end of the container and defining at least one opening. Pressurized fluid supplied to the internal chamber is urged upwardly through the internal chamber, through and around an article disposed therein, and out the at least one opening of the lid. As a result, salt retained within or on the article is expelled through the at least one opening of the lid and particulate on or within the article is collected or passed through the filter member. Systems incorporating the apparatus and methods of using the same are also provided.

Stepping into the drying stage of the mat dries the footwear. The cleaning mat may also further comprise a supplemental cleaning stage and/or supplemental drying stage.
