Abstract: A method for cleaning a workspace, including: autonomously moving, with a mechanism of a robot, a cloth of a mopping assembly of the robot upwards and downwards relative to a work surface of the work space. The cloth is disengaged from the work surface when the cloth is moved upwards relative to the work surface such that the cloth is not in contact with the work surface. The cloth is engaged with the work surface when the cloth is moved downwards relative to the work surface such that the cloth is in contact with the work surface. The mechanism moves the cloth of the mopping assembly upwards and downwards relative to the work surface based on input provided by at least one sensor of the robot.

Abstract: A clutch device (400) for an upright vacuum cleaner and an upright vacuum cleaner (1) having the same are provided, in which the clutch device (400) is disposed between an electric motor assembly (200) and a machine body assembly (300) of the upright vacuum cleaner (1), and the electric motor assembly (200) includes an electric motor housing (21) and an electric motor (22). The clutch device (400) includes: a sliding track (41d) driven (300) to move by the machine body assembly; a toggling tongue (42d) fixed to the electric motor (22) and rotatable with respect to the electric motor housing (21); and a lever member (43d) having a second end of the lever member (43d) slidably fitted to the sliding track (41d) and a first end fitted with an end of the toggling tongue (42d). When the machine body assembly (300) drives the sliding track (41d) to move, the sliding track (41d) drives the lever member (43d) to rotate, and when the lever member (43d) rotates, the toggling tongue (42d) is stirred to make the electric motor (22) rotate with respect to the electric motor housing (21).

Abstract: A vacuum system for use in excavation operations. The system uses a tank having an open end that is closed by a door. The door is opened and closed by a door lifting assembly made up of an upper linkage arm, a lower linkage arm and a hydraulic cylinder. A socket is formed in the upper linkage arm, and a shaft housing is formed in the lower linkage arm. The shaft housing engages with the socket to latch the door closed. The upper linkage arm is attached to the door at a first pivot axis and is attached to the lower linkage arm at a second pivot axis. The lower linkage arm is attached to a side of the tank at a third pivot axis. When the door is open, the second pivot axis extends below a reference plane that contains the first and third pivot axis.
