Abstract: A talar bone plate for use with a multi-component ankle prosthesis is disclosed that has a body having a medial side, a lateral side, an upper surface, a lower surface, a medial-anterior end, a lateral-anterior end, a medial-anterior portion that extends out in anterior direction beyond the lateral-anterior side, and a posterior side, where a length between the medial-anterior end and the posterior side is greater than the length between the lateral-anterior end and the posterior side near the lateral side of the body, where the body having at least one elongated screw hole provided in the medial-anterior portion and a plurality of screw holes provided in the area between the at least one elongated screw hole and the posterior side.

Abstract: A periprosthetic plate and method of use are disclosed that includes a proximal segment having a top portion and an end portion with at least two curved hooks that are capable of passing through a patient's abductor muscles and rest medially on a tip of a patient's greater trochanter (GT), wherein the proximal segment includes a plurality of recessed bone screw holes. A periprosthetic proximal femur plate is disclosed that includes a head portion having at least six first polyaxial screw holes and a shaft portion connected to the shaft portion having a plurality of rows of at least two second polyaxial screw holes located at an angle from the horizontal from about thirty degrees to about sixty degrees. A combination periprosthetic proximal femur plate and greater trochanter (GT) plate construct is disclosed that includes a greater trochanter (GT) plate located on top of the periprosthetic proximal femur plate.

Abstract: Resorbable implants, coverings and receptacles comprising poly(butylene succinate) and copolymers thereof have been developed. The implants are preferably sterilized, and contain less than 20 endotoxin units per device as determined by the limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) assay, and are particularly suitable for use in procedures where prolonged strength retention is necessary, and can include one or more bioactive agents. The implants may be made from fibers and meshes of poly(butylene succinate) and copolymers thereof, or by 3d printing molding, pultrusion or other melt or solvent processing method. The implants, or the fibers preset therein, may be oriented. These coverings and receptacles may be used to hold, or partially/fully cover, devices such as pacemakers and neurostimulators. The coverings, receptacles and implants described herein, may be made from meshes, webs, lattices, non-wovens, films, fibers, foams, molded, pultruded, machined and 3D printed forms.

Abstract: A memory alloy periosteal traction plate is provided, including a plate body and screws. A work surface, a proximal installation end, and a distal installation end are formed on the plate body. The work surface fits a surface of a curved long bone, and extends in a length direction of the long bone. The proximal installation end is located at one end, close to a proximal end of the long bone, of the plate body, and the distal installation end is located at one end, close to a distal end of the long bone, of the plate body. Both the proximal installation end and the distal installation end are firmly connected to the long bone through screws by means of multiple fixing points, the plate body can gradually transition from a bending state to a straight state by means of deformation.

The implant advancing assembly has at least one part that is movable against the bone implant to advance it into the operative position wherein the first and second projections are advanced into one or more bone parts and the first portion of the body overlies an outer bone surface.

The articulating driver head can articulate with respect to a longitudinal axis of the elongate shaft to enable the fastener to be driven at various angle. The tool can be coupled to a powered handpiece power and can transmit torque from the handpiece to the driver head.
