摘要: Mandibular lingual repositioning devices include a mandibular piece having a first teeth covering and a housing proximate a left molar portion and a right molar portion that each have a first drive and a protrusive flange extending cranially and a stimulator protrusion extending toward the tongue each extend from the housing, and include a maxillary piece having a second teeth covering and a housing proximate each of a left molar portion and a right molar portion that each have a second driver. Each housing encloses a power source electrically connected to a motor and to an on-board circuit board, and has its respective driver operatively connected to a respective motor. Each housing of the mandibular piece also has an electrode of a stimulator electrically connected to its power source. Each first driver is operatively engaged with the maxillary piece and each second driver is operatively engaged with a protrusive flange.

摘要: A method of modulating glandular secretions by administering acoustic shock waves to a gland, includes the steps of activating acoustic shock waves of an acoustic shock wave generator to emit acoustic shock waves and subjecting the gland to acoustic shock waves stimulating the gland to have a modulated response. The modulated response is one of an adjustment in hormonal release which increases low level output, decreases high level output or stabilizes erratic output. The emitted acoustic shock waves are focused or unfocused low energy acoustic shock waves. The gland underlies the patient's skin. The shock wave generator is acoustically coupled to the patient's skin using a coupling gel or liquid. The gland is one of a testicle, ovary, pituitary gland, adrenal gland, thyroid gland, thymus, pineal gland, parathyroid, or hypothalamus. The method can be repeated one or more times.

摘要: An ultrasound system according to some embodiments may include an ultrasound transducer configured to transmit ultrasound pulses toward tissue and generate echo signals responsive to the ultrasound pulses, a channel memory configured to store the echo signals, a beamformer configured to generated beamformed signals responsive to the echo signals, a neural network configured to receive one or more samples of the echo signals or the beamformed signals and produce a first type of ultrasound imaging data, and a processor configured to generate a second type of ultrasound imaging data, wherein the one or more processors may be further configured to generate an ultrasound image based on the first type of ultrasound imaging data and the second type of ultrasound imaging data and to cause a display communicatively coupled therewith to display the ultrasound image.

摘要: The present invention provides improved methods and systems for generating enhanced images of a volume of tissue. In an aspect, the method comprises receiving from a transducer, a plurality of acoustic signals derived from acoustic waveforms transmitted through the volume of tissue; generating from the acoustic signals, a first reflection rendering that characterizes sound reflection, the first reflection rendering comprising a first distribution of reflection values across a region of the volume of tissue; generating from the acoustic signals, a sound speed rendering that characterizes sound speed, the sound speed rendering comprising a distribution of sound speed values across the region; generating from the sound speed rendering, a second reflection rendering that characterizes sound reflection, the second reflection rendering comprising a second distribution of reflection values across the region; and rendering one or more combined images, based on the first reflection rendering and the second reflection rendering.

摘要: A plurality of transmission and reception circuits are connected to a plurality of vibration elements. The transmission and reception circuit includes a basic delay circuit and a fine delay circuit. The basic delay circuit delays a transmission signal and a reception signal for sub beamforming. The fine delay circuit is configured to be capable of performing delay finer than that of the basic delay circuit. A quantized delay error is compensated for by the fine delay circuit at the time of transmission.
