摘要: Universal endovascular grafts are provided for evaluation and repair of damaged or aneurismal blood vessels. More particularly, the present invention relates to universal fenestrated and universal branched endografts for repair of blood vessels with branches, methods for implanting the endografts in the vessel and for making connection with one or more branches. The universal fenestrated endografts have a body with a first end, a second end, a first wall, a second wall, and an interior passage or lumen. The body further includes openings in communication with the passage at the first and second ends and one or more lateral fenestrations in communication with the lumen. The body further has a necked portion between the ends and a cannulation member. The universal branched endografts have a tubular body with a main lumen and four branch lumens. A large branch extends from the body. The four lumens are positioned about a circumference of the tubular body.

摘要: A tubular tissue graft device is provided comprising a tubular member and a restrictive fiber matrix of a bioerodible polymer about a circumference of the tubular tissue. The matrix may be electrospun onto the tubular tissue. In one embodiment, the tubular tissue is from a vein, such as a saphenous vein, useful as an arterial graft, for example and without limitation, in a coronary artery bypass procedure. Also provided is method of preparing a tubular graft comprising depositing a fiber matrix of a bioerodible polymer about a perimeter of a tubular tissue to produce a tubular tissue graft device. A cardiac bypass method comprising bypassing a coronary artery with a tubular tissue graft device comprising a vein and a restrictive fiber matrix of a bioerodible polymer about a circumference of the vein also is provided.

摘要: Implantable tubular devices have a fenestration in a wall of the tubular device and a conductive coil positioned around the fenestration such that the coil is operable to generate a magnetic field when electrical current flows through the coil. The magnetic field can be used to draw a ferrous or magnetically tipped guidewire or other device to and through the fenestration. In the example of a fenestrated endovascular graft, the coil can be used to draw a guidewire out through a fenestration into a branch blood vessel, such that the guidewire can be used to deliver a branch of the graft through the fenestration into the branch vessel. A power source can be contained in a nosecone.

摘要: A covered stent (100A), including a mesh-shaped support structure, and further including a first section (10A) and a second section (20A) connected to a proximal end and/or a distal end of the first section. The first section includes a plurality of first corrugated rings (11A), and a first covering film (12A) which covers surfaces of the first corrugated rings; the second section includes a plurality of second corrugated rings (21A), two adjacent second corrugated rings being fixedly connected to each other; a plurality of windows (201A) are formed between the plurality of second corrugated rings; and the plurality of first corrugated rings and the plurality of second corrugated rings form the support structure. The second section of the covered stent will not block an opening of a branch vessel (400), and thus it is not necessary to reduce the length of the covered stent in a main branch vessel, such that the covered stent has a sufficiently long anchoring area in the main branch vessel so as to ensure that the covered stent has sufficient anchoring force and thus prevent the displacement or endoleak of a distal end of the covered stent, thereby ensuring a good occluding effect.

摘要: Endovascular prostheses used to treat diseased blood vessels, such as arteries, are disclosed. In some embodiments, an endovascular prosthesis is configured to be implanted within a diseased blood vessel adjacent a diseased section. The endovascular prosthesis may include a fenestration tube through which a guidewire extends in a sealed configuration. The fenestration tube can be selectively openable and configured to sealingly receive an expandable endovascular prosthesis that extends into a side branch vessel of the diseased blood vessel.

The sensor may be covered with another tubular prosthesis or by a layer of material in order to insulate the sensor from the fluid flow. A pocket may be formed between the tubular prosthesis and the adjacent layer of material or prosthesis and the sensor may be disposed in the pocket.
