摘要: A device for reducing a carbon dioxide and water content in an enclosed air volume has first and second sorption units for sorbing carbon dioxide and water. The first and second sorption units can be transferred from a sorption mode into a desorption mode and vice versa. In the sorption mode, the first and second sorption units sorb carbon dioxide and water from raw air of the enclosed air volume. In the desorption mode, the first and second desorption units desorb carbon dioxide and water to supplied regeneration air. An air distribution device can switch the first and second sorption units, based on the carbon dioxide and water content, alternately from sorption mode into desorption mode such that, in at least one operating state of the device, one of the first and second sorption units is in sorption mode while the other is in desorption mode.

摘要: An air purification system includes a linear electrode that generates electromagnetic resonance; an electric field probe that measures the electric field intensity; and a controller that controls power supplied to the linear electrode. The controller adjusts the frequency of the power supplied to the linear electrode and the position at which the power is supplied to the linear electrode, to maximize an output value of a signal indicating the electric field intensity. Feedback control is performed to make the amount of ozone always constant, by monitoring the amount of ozone generated and adjusting the amplitude modulation of the power supplied, so that ozone necessary for decomposing viruses is generated but harmful nitrogen oxides are not generated as a result of applying, to gas molecules contained in influent gas, an energy that is at least the dissociation energy of oxygen molecules and no greater than the dissociation energy of nitrogen molecules.

摘要: A system and method reduce a concentration of viable microorganisms, including but not limited to the 2019 novel (new) coronavirus that causes the illness coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), in air in a workspace by over 80% with a single pass of air through the system. A heater heats air drawn from the workspace and a desiccant dehumidifier further heats air from the heater. The heater and desiccant dehumidifier decontaminate the air to kill or inactivate the microorganisms so that air returned to the workspace from the system has a reduced concentration of viable microorganisms.

摘要: The formation of sterilization tubes by plates with parts that match in whole or in part, that when assembled together form ducts, passages, channels, or tubes in a mass or block of heat resistant material. The size of the block may be reduced by forming the ducts as curved passages or tubes that will keep or increase the length of the tube while keeping the same or more exposure time while the gas is passing through. If the length of the curved duct is the same as a straight tube would have been, the overall size of the assembly may be reduced from what it otherwise would have been. If the curved length is made longer while the size of the assembly is kept the same, the exposure time is increased for a more effective sterilization.
