摘要: Mandibular repositioning devices have a mandibular piece having a first teeth covering and having a housing proximate each of a left molar portion and a right molar portion, a protrusive flange extending cranially from each housing, and a maxillary piece having a second teeth covering and having a housing proximate each of a left molar portion and a right molar portion. Each housing encloses a power source electrically connected an on-board circuit board and the housings of the maxillary piece further have the power source electrically connected to a motor operatively connected to a drive for anterior and posterior movements of the mandibular piece. The maxillary piece sits on the mandibular piece with the driver operatively engaged with the protrusive flange. The protrusive flange has a concavely-shaped anterior surface mated to a convexly-shaped head of the driver shaped to match the concavely-shaped anterior surface of the protrusive flange.

摘要: A method is disclosed for programming a patient's stimulator device using an external device. The method provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) on the external device that allows the patient to select from a plurality of displayed stimulation modes to program stimulation provided by one or more electrodes of the stimulator device. The external device stores a model derived for the patient, which model comprises information indicative of a plurality of frequency/pulse width/amplitude coordinates predicted to provide optimal stimulation for the patient. Each stimulation mode corresponds with a subset of coordinates defined in accordance with the plurality of coordinates in the model. Selection of one of the stimulation modes limits programming the stimulator device with coordinates that are within the corresponding subset of coordinates.

摘要: A method for a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (WCD) system comprises sensing one or more patient parameters from different parts of a body of the patient by the one or more transducers, obtaining a plurality of physiological inputs from the sensed one or more patient parameters, detecting first aspects from each of at least some of the physiological inputs, generating an aggregated first aspect from at least two of the detected first aspects, determining an aggregate analysis score from the aggregated first aspect, and determining whether the aggregate analysis score meets an aggregate shock criterion. The electrical charge is discharged within six minutes from when it is determined that the aggregate shock criterion is met, otherwise the electrical charge is not discharged for at least 19 minutes from when it is determined that the aggregate shock criterion is not met.

摘要: A system to analyze data for neurostimulation programming may include capabilities to collect and analyze relevant input data (training data) for training a neurostimulation programming model. In an example, the system may: determine usage of a particular neurostimulation treatment, for a neurostimulation treatment that is associated with a set of parameters used by a neurostimulation device to deliver neurostimulation to a patient; evaluate patient feedback data (e.g., obtained from the patient) associated with the usage of the neurostimulation treatment; calculate, based on the patient feedback data, an amount of training data required to perform training operations on a programming selection model, with such training data being provided at least in part from the patient feedback data and optionally device data. In a further example, the training operations on the programming selection model enable an updated set of parameters to be generated for the neurostimulation device, such as with closed-loop programming.

摘要: An implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) performs a method that includes determining whether first criteria for detecting a ventricular tachyarrhythmia are met by a cardiac electrical signal. The ICD determines features from cardiac signal segment of a group of cardiac signal segments and determines whether a first portion of the features satisfy monomorphic waveform criteria and determines whether a second portion of the features satisfy supraventricular beat criteria. The ICD determines whether second criteria for detecting the ventricular tachyarrhythmia are met and withholds detecting of the ventricular tachyarrhythmia in response to the monomorphic waveform criteria and the supraventricular beat criteria being met.
