摘要: An inversion table includes a supporting stand, a tilt inversion mechanism and an operating unit. The tilt inversion mechanism includes an inversion unit including a support table assembly which is pivotally disposed on the supporting stand, and an extension assembly which is coupled with and extends from the support table assembly downwardly. A feet holding unit includes a front feet holding assembly securely and non-pivotably disposed on a lower portion of the inversion unit, and a rear feet holding assembly pivotably and movably connected to the inversion unit. The operating unit includes an operating assembly operably coupled with the front feet holding assembly, and is rotatable about a rotating axis at the front feet holding assembly to actuate the rear feet holding assembly to rotate and move toward the front feet holding assembly. In an inversion state, the users feet is firmly held on the front feet holding assembly.

摘要: A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.

摘要: A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.

摘要: A calf-stretching device enables a user to conduct stretching exercises of the gastrocnemius muscles of the leg. The calf-stretching device includes a support base positionable on a floor surface and left and right surfaces immovably attached to the support base. Each of the left and right surfaces present a convex curved surface from a front side to a back side to receive respective feet of the user, the convex curved surface having a greater radial dimension on an inner portion than an outer portion to correspond to a foot arch of the user.

摘要: An assistive stretching device worn by a user to reduce physical stress while lifting to aid another individual in stretching and method is disclosed. The device includes a belt sized to fit around the torso of the user, first and second pulleys supported on the belt, first and second wrist attachments; first and second ankle attachments; first and second cords threaded through corresponding pulleys with one end attached to corresponding ankle attachments and the opposite end attached to corresponding wrist attachments. The pulleys operate to change the direction of the lifting force, making it easier to lift and stretch the anterior aspects of the musculature of the individual rather than lifting dead weight. An attachment including a dual pulley system may replace the first and second pulleys and includes an arm supporting a pulley at each end and openings to provide leverage adjustments when attaching the arm to the belt.
