    摘要: An inverted Stewart platform assembly includes a first platform having a first surface, a second platform having a second surface facing the first surface of the first platform, and six legs extending between and coupling the first platform and the second platform. The six legs are configured to be actuated between a first arrangement in which adjustable lengths of the six legs, measured from the first platform to the second platform, are substantially equal to one another, and a plurality of second arrangements in which the adjustable lengths of the six legs are not substantially equal to one another, wherein each leg of the six legs forms, in the first arrangement, an angle of less than or equal to 45 degrees with a plane defined by the first platform.

    摘要: An amusement ride includes a plurality of main arms which are moved by at least one motor along a circular path about a central rotation axis arranged substantially vertical to the ground, or to a platform. The main arms are rotatable about a rotation axis so that a first portion, which extends with respect to the rotation axis, can be raised or lowered with respect to the ground. The ride further includes at least one seat for at least one rider connected to the first portion of the main arm, at least one movable aerodynamic surface, and a control device for modifying the angle of incidence of the aerodynamic surface with respect to the air flow impacting it during the rotation of the main arm about the central axis.

    摘要: A vehicle for use in an amusement park ride with upright passenger seating. The vehicle includes a vehicle body and a seat assembly including a seat pan provided in the vehicle body between a front end and a rear end of the vehicle body. The vehicle further includes a passenger restraint system with: (a) a lap bar assembly; (b) a lap bar mount pivotally supporting the lap bar assembly within the vehicle body to pivot about a lap bar rotation axis passing between the seat pan and the front end of the vehicle body; (c) a side leg shield; and (d) a shield articulating assembly concurrently pivoting the side leg shield about a shield rotation axis from an open to a closed position with a pivoting of the lap bar assembly about the lap bar rotation axis from a disengage to an engaged position.
