摘要: In a method for setting bending of at least one straightening roller in a roller straightening machine, the straightening roller is supported by a plurality of supporting roller devices arranged beside one another in the axial direction, wherein each supporting roller device can be adjusted by an actuating device such that stresses are produced in the straightening roller. To control the actuating device, a control system is provided, by which the adjustment of the supporting roller device can be set manually. Limiting values (vMA, vMI) with respect to the stresses produced in the straightening roller are stored in the control system. In the event of adjustment of one of the supporting roller devices, maxima (MA) and minima (MI) of the stresses produced in the straightening roller are calculated and it is checked whether the maxima (MA) and minima (MI) lie within the limiting values (vMA, vMI).

摘要: A method of aligning a flat or profiled metal sheet with preformed notches on the two sides of the metal sheet when the sheet enters into a bender or folding machine directly from a roll forming machine linked or joined to the folder. The metal sheet has to be effectively aligned on the folder before folding to avoid potential damages to the metal sheet of not being properly squared or angled on bending while reducing the times to produce the folded products. Moreover, this method according to the invention allows the metal sheet to feed directly into the folder from the rollformer without having to pass through an intermediary transfer table or aligning device/machine before entering the folder for folding or manual alignment in the folder.

摘要: An apparatus for the support and the controlled advancement of a sheet in a bending machine for forming a cylindrical or conical structure, in particular of a truncated cone structure, comprises a base structural frame adapted to be positioned upstream of said bending machine, with respect to an advancement direction of the sheet, a plurality of conveying modules which can be mounted, removable, on the structural frame so as to generate a plan of modular support and advancement which can be configured geometrically according to the shape and dimensions of the sheet to be produced; the modular support and advancement plane is geometrically configured to keep the sheet metal part supported by the plane in a flat condition; an lifting and tilting device configured to vary the position of the structural frame, supporting the conveying modules, from a horizontal lying position to an inclined lying position in which the support and advancement plane is inclined downwards towards the bending machine; repositioning and position correcting members configured to orient and arrange the sheet in a correct position before starting a bending cycle and configured to correct, during the bending cycle, the position of the sheet to impose it a predetermined advancement trajectory towards and through the bending machine. The relative method is also envisaged.

摘要: A metal roof panel includes a rib with a unique shape. The rib is bilateral with upwardly angled sides that each transition into an indentation, with both indentations transitioning into a central flat apex. Between each rib is a channel, preferably including at least one raised surface. The lower surface of the channel between the raised surfaces, and the top of the raised surfaces, are substantially planar and parallel to the flat surface of the apex of the panel. A unique method of manufacturing the roof panel employs a roll machine configured to shape a piece of sheet metal into the roof panel by modifying the shape in many small increments, which allows the final product to have a fairly intricate bend pattern.

摘要: A method for deriving the position of a pushing roll, applied even when there is a difference between the actual processed shape and a theoretical solution (a numerical analysis solution) due to changes in a state of a processing machine or the bending characteristic of the material to be processed. The rolls have a pyramid-like shape, and the operation amount of a pushing roll is changed while continuously feeding a material, thereby bending the material. Also, for each position of the fixed pushing roll, the radius of curvature of the material is measured and the bending characteristic is grasped in advance. From the design shape, the radius of curvature and the operation amount for bringing the pushing roll into contact are obtained. The operation amount of the pushing roll is then determined.

摘要: A vehicle reinforcement beam is roll formed from a metal sheet to provide a multi-tubular reinforcement beam that includes two adjacent tubular sections that share a common center wall. The outer sections the metal sheet extend from opposing ends of the common center wall and are formed to enclose the adjacent tubular sections. An edge portion of the metal sheet that is bent to have a bend radius of about 3-9 mm, where the edge portions attach in abutting and continuous contact with the common center wall to form crevices between the adjacent tubular sections along the first and second faces. A weld is formed in each of the crevices to define crevice ribs in general alignment with and at each of the opposing first and second ends of the common center wall that are configured to improve bending strength and torsional strength of the reinforcement beam.
