    摘要: The present invention relates to a method at the material processing by the use of high kinetic energy, comprising a piston which is driven from a start position by a hydraulic system pressure (pS) by means of a drive chamber in order, by only one stroke, to transfer high kinetic energy to a blank/tool to be processed, whereafter there is a risk that a rebound of the piston will occur, and the method comprises that a step is taken in connection with said stroke performed, which step prevents said piston from making a rebound with an essential content of kinetic energy in order to avoid negative effects as a result of a rebound, whereafter the piston is returned to said start position by means of a second chamber, wherein said step comprises that a valve means closes the driving connection between the system pressure (pS) and the piston, wherein said step comprises that said valve means is controlled by a pilot valve controlling the entire striking progress, and that said second chamber is pressurized with the system pressure (pS) during the entire striking progress.

    摘要: In a multi-station forging machine having a stationary die breast and a reciprocating slide moveable in a direction towards and away from the die breast, the slide carrying a tool holder at a workstation, a tool case moveable back and forth on the tool holder in the direction of slide movement, tool segments carried in the tool case and moveable between open and closed positions, a pivotal lever carried on the slide having one portion engaging a rearwardly facing surface adjacent a rear of the tool case, a pivot surface around which said lever pivots, and another portion on a part of the lever extending from the pivot surface remote from the one portion, a high force spring mounted on the die breast, the spring being arranged to apply a high biasing force to said other lever portion when the slide is near or at front dead center, the lever transferring said biasing force to said tool case to bias said tool case forwardly.

    摘要: A low temperature plasma reactor for the treatment of particulate material. A housing is provided having an exit for treated material. Within the housing, the particulate material, and any desired additional reactants, undergo thermo-chemical reaction while being subjected to cyclonic action. The particulate material migrates or is driven toward the housing walls as it travels through the housing toward the housing exit. A plasma generator subjects that material that passes through the housing exit to plasma action. In a preferred embodiment, the housing includes a first portion wherein the cyclonic conditions are established, a throat portion through which treated material exits the housing and an adaptive portion extending between the first portion and the throat portion. An offgas duct withdraws gas and entrained particulate material generally at the junction of the first and adaptive housing portions while the plasma generator establishes a thermal barrier to the passage of entrained particulate material from the throat portion. The offgases may be employed in cogeneration while the inlet gases, by which cyclonic action is established, may have their constituents controlled with cogeneration in mind.
