摘要: An adjustable hub adapter for coupling an on-car brake lathe to a wheel hub. An annular support frame coaxially carries an axially bored and threaded central mounting hub with a set of equidistantly spaced spokes. A lug bolt receiver is associated with each spoke, and consists of a receiving tube, a lever arm pivotally coupled to the spoke at a pivot bolt in proximity to the annular support frame. An engagement pin on each lever arm is captured within a synchronizing ring carried on the annular support frame. The rotational movement of any lug bolt receiver about an axis of the pivot bolt imparts rotational movement to the synchronizing ring, and in turn, causes each remaining bolt receiver to rotate about an associated pivot bolt axis, maintaining the lug bolt receivers in a synchronized and symmetric radial displacement from the central mounting hub.

摘要: A clamping device for releasably holding a tool holder shank includes a housing, a drawbar axially moveable in a bore in the housing, engagement members moveable under the effect of the drawbar into locking engagement with the tool holder shank, and an actuating member rotatably arranged in the bore. Upon rotation of the actuating member, a contact surface on a motion transferring element fixedly connected to the actuating member achieves an axial movement of the drawbar by pressing against a contact surface on another motion transferring element fixedly connected to the drawbar. At least one of the contact surfaces includes two sections with mutually different pitch, such that the same angular displacement of the actuating member, when rotated in a first rotary direction, results in a longer axial movement of the drawbar in a first phase of the rotary movement than in a final phase thereof.

摘要: In the case of a clamping device (1) for holding a workpiece (3) to be machined by a machine tool (2), which is used in particular as a clamping chuck, vice or zero point clamping system, consisting of a housing (4), a supporting element (6), which is a component of the housing (4) or is fastened thereto, and thereby forms a supporting surface (6'), on which the respective workpiece (3) rests during the machining process, at least one clamping jaw (7) that is mounted in the housing (4) so it is axially movable and a counter-stop formed by the housing (4) or an axially movable clamping jaw (8), between which the workpiece (3) is clamped in the region of the supporting surface (6') or at least three clamping jaws (7, 8, 9) mounted in the housing (4) so they are axially movable, between which the workpiece (3) is clamped in the region of the supporting surface (6'), a reliable and verifiable monitoring of the distance between the workpiece (3) and the supporting surface (6') and/or the clamping jaws (7, 8, 9) is supposed to take place at the clamping device (1) before and during the entire machining process, without extensive constructional measures being required for this. This is achieved in that at least one free space (11) is integrated in the housing (4), the axis of symmetry of which runs perpendicular to the supporting surface (6') and which faces the clamped workpiece (3) with the open front side, and/or that at least one free space (11) is integrated in one of the clamping jaws (7, 8, 9), which free space leads to the respective clamping surface (7', 8', 9') of the clamping jaws (7, 8, 9), that a proximity sensor (12) is inserted in the respective free space (11), that, via the proximity sensor (12), a monitoring area (13) is formed between the supporting surface (6') and the workpiece (3), which is monitored by an analysis unit (14) with respect to the presence of the workpiece (3).

The rivet feed bore extends from the top end to the bottom end of the rivet block, accepts the rivet at the top end of the rivet feed bore, and guides the rivet to the bottom end of the rivet feed bore. The rivet feed bore intersecting the pin bore between the top end and the bottom end of the pin bore at an oblique angle.

摘要: A chuck is provided for use with a powered driver having a rotatable drive shaft. The chuck includes a plurality of jaws (22) movably disposed in passageways (40) of a cylindrical body (14), a nut (16) rotatably mounted about the body (14) and in communication with the jaws (22) such that rotation of the nut (16) in a closing direction moves the jaws (22) toward each other and rotation of the nut (16) in an opening direction moves the jaws (22) away from each other, and a sleeve rotatably mounted about the body (14). The sleeve is in communication with the nut (16) such that rotation of the sleeve rotationally drives the nut (16). The chuck also including a biasing element (208) disposed between the nut (16) an at least a portion of the sleeve configured to bias the sleeve toward a neutral position. The biasing element (208) limits an inertial force of the sleeve applied to the nut during operation of the powered driver.

摘要: Provided is a chuck apparatus enabling ease of rotation of a rotating cylinder in the loosening direction when replacing a tool, suppressed wear of the ratchet teeth, and a longer life span. Annular ratchet teeth (5) are provided to the body (2) or the rotating body (8), a detachable locking spring body (9) for locking with the ratchet teeth (5) is provided, and a lock release mechanism is provided for forcibly releasing the locking between the ratchet teeth (5) and the locking spring body (9) when a rotational force in a tightening direction is brought to zero after the rotating cylinder (1) has been rotated in the tightening direction and a holding force on the tool (4) has reached a predetermined value.
