    摘要: A device for holding disk-shaped articles and a method thereof are provided. The device comprises a rotatable chuck body and at least two groups of clamping elements arranged at the edge of the chuck body. Each of the clamping elements is mounted to a pivot with the chuck body respectively by means of the rotation of the clamping element with respect to the chuck body. A radial compression spring is connected between the bottom of the clamping element and the chuck body to provide a clamping force for the clamping element. The clamping elements in the same group are provided with magnets with the same polarity, while the clamping elements in different groups are provided with magnets with the opposite polarity. Two sets of electromagnets are arranged on the chuck body and spaced apart evenly.

    摘要: The apparatus accurately and automatically orients a shaft with an eccentric end portion for positioning in an eccentric chuck. An unoriented shaft is deposited on a support assembly. The shaft is supported by the eccentric and adjacent the end remote from the eccentric. The shaft is rotated, preferably by a magnet, to orient the eccentric at a precise angular orientation. Preferably, a proximity sensor verifies that successful orientation has been achieved. Once the shaft is properly oriented, it is removed by a pick and place robot, for insertion into the chuck.

    摘要: In the clamping device a clamping head rigidly attached to the rotating spindle is provided between the rotating spindle and the tool holder which has a plurality of adjustable clamping pieces for holding the tool holder on the clamping head. A clamping rod penetrating the clamping head is provided for the tool holder in the hollow rotating spindle. This clamping rod is slidable axially under power operation, is coupled with a central clamping member of the tool holder and is rotatable relative to the rotating spindle. This clamping rod is couplable and uncouplable with the clamping member by rotation. A clamping pipe which is guided axially slidably and nonrotatably relative to the rotating spindle moves and adjusts the clamping pieces. The clamping rod is engaged in the rotation direction with the clamping pipe by the gear unit which converts the axial motion of the clamping pipe to a rotation of the clamping rod. Thus a sliding of the clamping pipe in the sense of a fixing and/or loosening of the tool holder on the clamping head rotates the clamping rod in the sense of a coupling and/or uncoupling to the clamping member.

    摘要: A reversible drill, equipped with a chuck having a jaw guide, chuck jaws constrained by the jaw guide for radial advancement and retraction, and chuck jaw propulsion means for driving the chuck jaws in advancement and retraction, is equipped with a manually actuable clutch for easing the chuck jaw propulsion means into and out of engagement with the drill housing to, respectively, prevent and allow relative rotation between the jaw guide and the chuck jaw propulsion means. When the drill motor is driven in one direction of rotation, the chuck jaw propulsion means is immobilized relative to the drill housing and the chuck jaws are advanced radially toward each other to grip a drill bit. When the housing and chuck jaw propulsion means are eased together and the drill motor is driven in the opposite direction, the chuck jaw propulsion means is immobilized and draws the chuck jaws apart as the jaw guide rotates to release a drill bit. When the chuck jaw propulsion means is disengaged from the drill housing the drill is operable in a normal manner. An O-ring is positioned between the drill housing and the chuck jaw propulsion means and is operable independently of the clutch mechanism to exert a light drag on the chuck jaw propulsion means. Drill bits can be lightly seized and chuck jaws opened without engagement of the clutch mechanism.
