    摘要: A power tool and method for recording and playing back a motor parameter. The power tool includes a housing, a motor, a trigger, and a controller. The trigger outputs an activation signal based on a user input. The controller receives a user mode selection signal indicating a selected mode. The controller enters the recording mode when the user mode selection indicates the recording mode, and records a motor parameter to generate a recorded motor parameter. The recorded motor parameter covers a first time period in which motor is operating in response to depression of the trigger, a second time period in which motor is inactive in response to release of the trigger, and a third time period in which motor is operating in response to another depression of the trigger. In the playback mode, the controller operates the motor based on the recorded motor parameter upon receiving the activation signal.

    摘要: A power tool is provided including a brushless DC (BLDC) motor, a rectifier that receives an alternative current from a power supply and outputs a rectified signal supplied to a DC power bus, and an inverter circuit having motor switches connected electrically between the DC power bus and the motor. A control module controls a switching operation of the power switches to regulate supply power from the power supply to the motor. The control module controls the switching operation so as to, within a half cycle of the AC power supply voltage waveform, increase current draw from the power supply from a first threshold at or after a first zero-crossing of the half cycle up to a second threshold, and reduce current draw from the power supply from the second threshold up to a third threshold at or prior to a second zero-crossing of the half cycle.

    摘要: A power tool with a combined printed circuit board (PCB) having a doughnut shape and located coaxially with a motor shaft. The combined PCB is secured to a heat sink on one end of the motor and a metal end piece is positioned on an opposite end of the motor. The metal end cap and heat sink are secured to one another via fasteners to provide a rigid coupling. A tabbed end piece is provided between the heat sink and the motor stator and is also secured into place via the fasteners. The tabbed end piece includes wire support tabs that provide strain relief to motor coil leads. The wire support tabs extend axially from circumferential locations of the tabbed end piece and include channels to guide the motor coil leads to solder contact points on the combined PCB.
