摘要: A method to manufacture a bevel at least partly along at least one edge of a building panel, such as a floor panel or wall panel, where the building panel includes a polymer-based material. The method includes creating an indentation in an edge portion of the at least one edge of the building panel, where the indentation is located at a distance from a surface of the building panel, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the surface of the building panel. The method further including heating at least an area between the indentation and the surface of the building panel in which the bevel is to be formed and applying pressure to the surface for forming a bevel of the building panel.

When the shaper cutter head is rotated about the longitudinal axis, the body defines a body sweep (1360). The flat indexing surface is recessed from the body sweep.

摘要: Saw blades and methods of machining saw blade tooth profiles of saw blades. The saw blades include a blade body and a plurality of teeth defined by the blade body. Each tooth includes a tooth back, a tooth tip, a tooth face, and a tooth gullet. In at least one tooth, a relief region extends toward the tooth back and separates the tooth face from the tooth gullet. The methods include supporting the saw blade with a blade support structure and advancing the saw blade with a blade advance structure. The methods also include dry-machining a finished tooth profile in a working portion of the saw blade in a single pass. The dry-machining includes dry-machining with an end mill by operatively translating the end mill relative to the saw blade and within a plane that is at least substantially perpendicular to an end mill rotational axis of the end mill.

摘要: A tool for performing work on a workpiece, such as a pipe, includes a mandrel assembly configured to secure to an interior portion of the pipe. The mandrel assembly includes an arm assembly configured to retain a cutting apparatus so as to be positioned at an outside portion of the pipe and to allow the cutting apparatus to revolve around the circumference of the pipe to perform work on the pipe. The mandrel assembly includes a hub and a plurality of jaws that allow it to secure to the interior of the pipe while the arm assembly props the cutting apparatus in a position to facilitate performing work on the pipe around the entire circumference of a section of the pipe. The engagement between the mandrel assembly and the pipe supports the weight of the tool, providing ease of use and improved control for pipe cutting operations.
