    摘要: The machine for machining crankshafts comprises a support (2) to support at least one crankshaft (100), and at least one actuator (1) to actuate a machining tool for machining the crankshaft. The support (2) is configured to hold the crankshaft with at least two clamping devices (21) configured to secure the crankshaft in correspondence with at least two main journals (103) of the crankshaft. The support (2) turns in respect to a vertical axis (A) to modify an angle of attack between a longitudinal axis (B) of the crankshaft (100) and the actuator. The support is provided with a turning mechanism (22) displaceable between a retracted position wherein it does not interact with the crankshaft (100), and an actuation position wherein the turning mechanism (22) interacts with the crankshaft (100) in order to turn the crankshaft (100) in respect to its longitudinal axis (B).

    摘要: A method and apparatus for broaching a series of axially aligned and spaced bores in which a first broach is provided for broaching in an initial operation. The first broach has circumferentially extending cutting teeth. The first broach also has arcuately spaced, longitudinally extending grooves which cross the cutting teeth and divide the cutting teeth into arcuate segments. Broach guides in the spaces between bores have ribs arranged in the same arcuately spaced relation as the grooves about an axis coinciding with the aligned axes of the bores. The first broach is advanced through the bores with the ribs slidably received in the grooves to guide the first broach and the cutting segments, broaching arcuately spaced sectors of the bores but leaving unbroached ridges therebetween. A second broach broaches the ridges left by the first broach.

    摘要: A quick release tool holder assembly including a tool holder defining a circular well, a pair of pads positioned on the tool holder and presenting inboard faces intruding into the well, and a wedge block member movable radially into and out of the well in response to rotation of a hand knob. The associated tool includes a wedge recess sized to receive the wedge tip of the wedge block. The pads are positioned within an angular range of 180.degree. as measured about the central axis of the tool and tool holder and the wedge block is positioned centrally within the remaining 180.degree. as measured around the central axis. The tool may be removed for refinishing or replacement simply by withdrawing the wedge block, moving the tool slightly laterally within the well, and then lifting the tool vertically out the well. The tool may be replaced in the well by repositioning it in the well, moving it laterally against the pads, and moving the wedge block forwardly to insert the wedge tip of the wedge block into the wedge recess in the base of the tool to accurately angularly position the tool within the tool holder.

    摘要: The plant comprises two broaching lines with successive actions, each comprising a traction device and an accompanying device which have axes of travel that are aligned along a common work axis. The work axes of the two broaching lines are separated by a distance at least equal to the diameter of the plate. The plate is moved on its support between a first broaching position in a first broaching line and a second broaching position in the second broaching line.     摘要: There is provided a broaching machine in which a first fitting portion to be fitted to a first end of the broaching shaft and a clamp for pressing the first fitting portion against the first end of the broaching shaft are provided at an end portion of the drive shaft, and a second fitting portion is formed at a front end portion of the support shaft so as to be fitted to the second end of the broaching shaft and is supported so as to be movable in an axial direction. A receptacle forming the second end of the broaching shaft is rotatable with respect to a main body of the broaching shaft. There is also provided a broaching machine in which a clamp bolt is threaded to the broaching tool body, an elongate hole is formed in a holder to which cutting segments of the broaching tool are mounted, and a press piece fitted to the clamp bolt is rotatable to engage the holder. Under this state, the holder is fixed to the broaching tool body by tightening the clamp bolt. A stopper member is provided for stopping the press piece at a rotary position at which the press piece is aligned with the elongate hole. When so aligned, the holder can be removed from the body of the broaching tool.
