    摘要: A press for translating a tool includes a first member, a second member and a plurality of retention members. The first member is drivingly coupled to an actuator. The first member is axially moveable between first and second positions in response to movement of the actuator. The first member includes a first end surface having a plurality of circumferentially spaced apart detents. The second member is threadably engaged with the first member. The first and second members define an assembly having a length. The retention members are positioned between the first and second members. Each retention member is biasedly engaged with one of the detents to provide resistance to relative rotation between the first and second members. The resistance to relative rotation may be overcome to adjust the length of the assembly.

A shuttle component is linked with the pivot point of the pivoting lever. The shuttle component drives the pivoting lever forcing it to pivot, and when the shuttle component reaches the midpoint of the stroke the pivoting is fully extended. The shuttle component is shuttled by way of a crank, utilizing a servomotor as the drive source. The ram drives the punching tool and is held by the frame in the way that it can readily make the up and down motion.

    摘要: The present invention provides a stroke operation mechanism which is incorporated in a single-structure press machine so that various types of stroke operations can easily be generated on the slide side, and a control method for controlling the stroke operation mechanism so as to cause the mechanism to exhibit various types of stroke operations. The press machine stroke operation mechanism has a driving system having a feed screw member disposed on a plane in parallel therewith, at least one pair of nut members screwed on the screw member and moved by rotation of the screw member so as to separate from and approach to each other, and a servomotor for supplying torques for normal and reverse rotations to the screw member; and a slide system having a slide member supported below the screw member at right angles therewith so as to be vertically slidable, and a transmission bar member having an upper end axially connected to the nut members and a lower end axially connected to the slide member. The rotational frequency and the rotational speed of the servomotor are controlled for controlling the position and speed of the slide member between the upper dead center and the lower dead center during the stroke motion of the slide member, which is caused by rotation of the motor.

    摘要: A mold clamping apparatus is provided, including upper and lower toggle sections disposed symmetrically with respect to an axis of the apparatus, each toggle section including a ball screw disposed radially outwardly of the apparatus with respect to the axis, a head threadedly engaged therewith, and links operable to expand and bend with reciprocal head motion along the ball screw, each ball screw being directly coupled to a corresponding one of two servomotors connected to a control circuit section including a pulse width modulation control circuit and two transistor inverters. The mold clamping apparatus has primarily structural components separated from the axis so that flexure of the toggle mechanisms and resultant non-uniformity of a pressing force onto the movable platen are eliminated, and each servomotor is small enough to drive a corresponding one toggle section, so that the resultant mold clamp apparatus is low in cost and high in operational response.
