    摘要： A embossed sheet embossed with projections creating an intermittent support surface for food. The embossed sheet may be inserted into a food package after cooking the food on which the cooked food is to be supported. Side seals confine the powder between the rollers and can be movable independently from the rollers and optionally independently from one another to enhance even compaction. A housing defines a guide channel with a linear feed and shearing zone immediately prior to the nip zone for smoothing and leveling powder flow. One or more vents are provided for releasing gases generated.

    摘要： The invention relates to an iron sponge briquetting press having two opposite rollers. The rollers consist of a roller base body and a coating affixed thereto, in which the moulding recesses for shaping the briquettes are formed. In order to provide less expensive roller coatings as compared with the segments used formerly as coating, which have moreover longer service lives, the invention provides that the coating is produced as a closed ring from a chromium nickel molybdenum steel and is held in press fit on the roller base body. Open grooves are produced in the sleeve surface of the roller base body or on the inner side of the ring as cooling ducts, their open sides being covered by the inner side of the ring or the sleeve surface of the base body in the assembled condition of the rollers.

    摘要： An apparatus for the passivating, multistage compaction of hot iron particles supplied in the form of a packed bed from a reduction unit and for the subsequent breaking apart of the compacted iron band is described. Prior to the final compacting, the iron particles pass through a homogenizing and precompressing stage. Thus, the compacted iron has a pore volume of max. 40% and a density of at least 5.5 g/cm.sup.3. The iron compacted to a band is subsequently guided between the rollers (7,8,11) of a separating stage exposing it to bending stresses such that it breaks apart at the predetermined desired breaking points. The breaking points have a smaller density than the band regions between them. They can be produced in that in the precompression stage the feed speed is briefly decelerated compared with the feed speed in the compaction stage or in the compaction stage there is less marked compression at these points than in the intermediate regions.
