摘要: The invention is related to a method of manufacturing a wall panel and a wall panel system. The method includes: forming a glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer including the steps of: pouring or injecting a slurry of uncured magnesium oxide into a mold, embedding glass fiber reinforcing material therein, and curing the magnesium oxide to obtain the glass-fiber reinforced rigid magnesium oxide layer having a first side and a second side; applying, to the second side of the rigid magnesium oxide layer, an insulation layer, the insulation layer comprising a foam; and optionally applying to the first side of the rigid layer a veneer layer.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a gypsum-based load-bearing board for wood structural load-bearing walls which is capable of increasing the co-efficient of effective wall length without additionally using reinforcement materials or stiffening materials, and without increasing the specific gravity and/or the thickness of the gypsum-based board. The gypsum-based load-bearing board (10) for wood structural load-bearing walls includes a main member or a core member formed from a board-shaped hardened gypsum containing an inorganic fiber and an organic-based strength enhancer that exert a lateral nail resistance of 500 N or more, and a paper covering at least front and back sides of the main member or the core member to constitute the load-bearing board. The load-bearing board has a surface density of 6.5 kg/m2 to 8.9 kg/m2, exhibits an ultimate displacement (δu2) of the load-bearing wall measured by an in-plane shear test of greater than 20×103 rad (δu2), and exerts an ultimate strength (correction value) (Pu′) of greater than 7.6 kN. According to the wooden structural load-bearing walls using the load-bearing board can obtain short-term reference shear strength (P0) greater than the wooden structural load-bearing walls using similar load-bearing board having a surface density of greater than 9.0 kg/m2.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making such gypsum panel. For instance, in one embodiment, the gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a first facing material and a second facing material sandwiching the gypsum core, wherein the gypsum core includes gypsum and one or more fire resistance additives. The methods of the present invention are directed to making the aforementioned gypsum panels by providing the first facing material, providing a gypsum slurry comprising gypsum, water, and one or more fire resistance additives onto the first facing material, and providing a second facing material on the gypsum slurry.

摘要: An ultra-stable structural laminate with fire resistance and a lateral nail pull strength from 44 to 300 pounds of force and an insulation R value from 1 to 40, the ultra-stable structural laminate of a cementitious material with a nano-molecular veneer and a foam component catalytically reacted into an expanded closed cell foam having a thickness from ⅛th inch to 8 inches, a density from 1.5 pounds/cubic foot to 3 pounds/cubic foot that self-adheres to the cementitious material forming an ultra-stable structural laminate with fire resistance and a lateral nail pull strength from 44 pounds to 300 pounds of force, an insulation R value from 1 to 40, a resistance to seismic impact for earthquakes over 3.1 on the Richter Scale, a break point from 7 lbs/inch to 100 lbs/inch; and a resistance to wind shear equivalent to a 15 mph downburst.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a gypsum panel and a method of making a gypsum panel. The gypsum panel comprises a gypsum core and a facing material. The gypsum core includes gypsum, a foaming agent, and optionally starch in an amount of less than 4 wt. % based on the weight of gypsum. The gypsum core includes air voids having an average void size of 50 microns or more. The gypsum panel has a density of 33 pcf or less, a weight of 1,800 lbs/MSF or less, and an NRC value of 0.2 or more.

摘要: A wall panel may have a rigid layer, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer may be chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the rigid layer. The rigid layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the rigid layer.
