Abstract: A protective barrier is affixable to a curved substrate such as a vehicle windshield. The protective barrier may include a stack of three or more lenses. Each of the three or more lenses may include a thermoplastic film (preferably a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film) and an adhesive layer on a first side of the thermoplastic film. The three or more lenses may have respective thicknesses that define a monotonically decreasing function in a stacking direction of the stack and that include at least three different thicknesses. The protective barrier may be placed on the curved substrate with the adhesive layer of an innermost lens of the stack in contact with the curved substrate, and heat and pressure may be applied to conform the stack to the shape of the curved substrate. Thereafter, an outermost lens of the stack may be peeled off to reveal the next lens of the stack.

Abstract: A sticking machine able to automatically remove films on either side of a sheet to be pasted to a workpiece includes a sheet supply component, a sheet selection component, a drive component, a first film-removing component, a second film-removing component, a carrier, and a transmission line. The sheet supply component stores sheets. The sheet selection component applies suction to the sheet. The first film-removing component tears off a first film, the second film-removing component tears off a second film on the reverse side. The transmission line carries the workpiece to the carrier. The sticking machine is fed by the sheet supply component, and after removal of the first film, the sheet selection component lays the sheet on the surface of the workpiece, then the second film-removing component tears off the second film, realizing automatic sticking of the sheet on the workpiece, improving the processing efficiency and accuracy.

Abstract: A method for making an accessory cladding element for use in architecture and design. The method provides preparing an elastically deformable support element, including a first outer surface, in particular a decorated surface, a second outer surface and a plurality of spacer elements placed between the two surfaces. An impermeable and removable layer is applied on the first outer surface to protect at least a part thereof. Then a fluid cement mixture is prepared and introduced into the support element to obtain a cement-based composite structure in a deformable state. The excess fluid cement mixture is removed from the support element. The cement-based composite structure in the deformable state is positioned in a forming device which gives it the desired shape. The composite structure is solidified and after the removable layer is removed.

N2 is measured at a tensile speed of 300 mm/min at a peel angle of 180°.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a flexible display substrate using a process film and a process film for manufacturing a flexible display substrate are provided. The method of manufacturing the flexible display substrate using the process film is as follows. A base layer for the flexible display substrate is prepared on a glass substrate. A packaging process is performed on the base layer to form a plurality of cells which are spaced apart from one another at a predetermined distance. The base layer is covered with the process film, after forming the plurality of cells. The base layer is separated from the glass substrate, while the base layer is laminated to the process film. The base layer is cut along each cell to form a plurality of flexible display substrates. Accordingly, the method of manufacturing the flexible display substrate using the process film is provided to improve the convenience of a manufacturing process and the reliability of the manufactured flexible display substrate by manufacturing the plurality of display substrates using the process film.
