摘要: A liquid jetting apparatus includes: a casing; a tank configured to store liquid and having a first side wall and a second side wall which face each other, a rear wall, an inlet, and a connecting portion; a conveying mechanism configured to convey a recording medium along a conveying path extending in a first direction; a carriage configured to move in a second direction in which the first side wall and the second side wall face each other so as to define a movement area having a range in the second direction, the range of the movement area having first and second ends spaced apart in the second direction; a tube connected to the connecting portion; and a head mounted on the carriage and having a nozzle configured to jet the liquid onto the recording medium conveyed by the conveying mechanism.

摘要: There are disclosed curable elastomeric compositions comprising at least one reactive curable silicone pre-polymer capable of forming a silicone elastomer upon curing thereof, and a plurality of hydrophilic carbon black particles dispersed therein, as well as their corresponding cured products. Such compositions, once cured, can be used for the preparation of numerous articles of wide industrial applicability.

摘要: An apparatus and method for compensating for variation of the image placement for each color station in an intermediate transfer drum system. A sensor detects the image placed by the previous station and triggers the imaging on the drum such that it properly registered to the previous image. However, the variation of the drum's radius results in runout which creates an error in the image placement, since the surface drum travel will be larger or smaller than expected. The method to correct for a lead edge offset for radial runout involves dividing the drum into regions and calculating an offset center of each region. As the drum transitions from region to region the offset value is updated to determine when to start imaging for proper placement on the sheet. The offset can be derived from the image runout to find the distance traveled from the transfer point or can be measured directly from color-to-color registration variation.

摘要: A printing apparatus includes a printing unit discharging a plurality of different pigmented inks onto a transfer member and forming an ink image, a processing unit performing processing such that each of the pigmented inks applied on the transfer member forms a layer, and a transfer unit transferring the ink image from the transfer member onto the printing medium conveyed by the conveyance unit. The pigmented inks include cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks as pigmented inks of four basic colors, and at least one pigmented ink different from the pigmented inks of basic colors. A first ink at least one of the pigmented inks of the basic colors is applied onto the transfer member after a second ink is applied. The second ink is the pigmented ink different from the pigmented inks of the basic colors and has a color material density lower than that of the first ink.

摘要: There is disclosed a method of printing onto the surface of a substrate, which method comprises i) coating a donor surface with a monolayer of particles, ii) treating the substrate surface to render at least selected regions tacky, and iii) contacting the substrate surface with the donor surface to cause particles to transfer from the donor surface only to the tacky regions of the substrate surface. After printing on a substrate, the donor surface returns to the coating station where the continuity of the monolayer is restored by recovering with fresh particles the regions of the donor surface exposed by the transfer of particles to the substrate.

摘要: A liquid jetting apparatus includes a casing, a tank formed with a liquid storage chamber which stores liquid, an inlet which allows the liquid to be poured into the liquid storage chamber, and a liquid outflow channel which allows the liquid to flow out from the liquid storage chamber, a conveying mechanism which conveys a recording medium along a conveying path extending in a front-rear direction, a carriage which moves in a left-right direction, and a head mounted on the carriage and having a nozzle which jets the liquid onto the recording medium conveyed by the conveying mechanism. The tank, the conveying path, and the carriage are arranged inside the casing, the tank is arranged outside the conveying path in the left-right direction, and at least a part of the tank is arranged inside both ends of a movement area of the carriage in the left-right direction.
