摘要: In one example a fluid ejection device comprises a housing and a deflector arm. The housing comprises a first housing portion and a second housing portion defining a fluid ejection aperture therebetween. The fluid ejection aperture is to direct fluid towards a roller. The deflector arm is movable within the fluid ejection aperture between first and second positions. In the first position, the deflector arm is proximate the second housing portion to thereby direct fluid between the deflector arm and the first housing portion and toward a target area on a surface of the roller. In the second position, the deflector arm is proximate the first housing portion to thereby direct fluid between the deflector arm and the second housing portion. The second housing portion comprises a curved surface such that, when the deflector arm is in the second position, fluid is directed away from the target area.

摘要: A printing platform includes a printing engine with one or more printheads arranged such that the ink drops are jetted vertically upwards against the action of gravity; and a substrate transportation system where the normal to the surface in contact with the substrate is parallel and with opposite direction to the travelling direction of the jetted ink drops. It is necessary to counteract the weight of the substrate during the printing process to avoid it from falling under the action of gravity. This is achieved through any of a mechanical element that interferes with the falling of the substrate and that keeps it in place; or a system that generates adhesion forces between the element that transmits the motion to the substrate, typically a conveyor belt, and the substrate through the action of electrostatic forces, an air pressure differential between both faces of the substrate, or any other suitable mechanism.

摘要: A discharge control apparatus includes a storage control unit, and a correction value update unit. The storage control unit is configured to store, in a storage unit, a correction value for correcting a value related to discharge performed by a liquid discharge unit configured to discharge liquid to a discharge target, in association with a type of the discharge target. The correction value update unit is configured to update, via the storage control unit, the correction value stored in the storage unit, based on input received by an input receiving unit configured to receive the input from a user. The correction value update unit is configured to perform update with as identical correction value for a plurality of different types of discharge targets.

摘要: Inkjet printing systems and methods dynamically control meniscus pressure at a nozzle to more reliably deliver ink to a substrate. The systems and methods include inferring an angle of a longitudinal axis of a printhead relative to the vertical reference axis based on an orientation signal from an orientation sensor, determining a target feed fluid pressure upstream of the nozzle and a target recirculation fluid pressure downstream of the nozzle, thereby to maintain a target pressure differentiation across the nozzle based, at least in part, on the inferred angle of the longitudinal axis, and controlling a variable feed pump speed and a variable recirculation pump speed to obtain the target feed fluid pressure and the target recirculation fluid pressure.

摘要: An example device includes a first substrate including a first array of droplet ejectors to eject droplets of a first fluid. The example device further includes a first target medium immovably positioned relative to the first substrate to receive droplets of the first fluid from a first subset of droplet ejectors of the first array of droplet ejectors. A second subset of droplet ejectors of the first array of droplet ejectors is positioned to eject droplets of the first fluid to miss the first target medium.

摘要: Provided is a liquid ejecting device that includes an ejecting unit configured to eject liquid and a control unit that performs control to apply the liquid to a medium. The ejecting unit is configured to eject, as the liquid, ink, that contains a color material, and inhibitor for inhibiting penetration of the color material into the medium. The control unit is configured to select a first printing mode in which applying the ink to the medium without applying the inhibitor to the medium, and a second printing mode in which applying the inhibitor to the medium and applying the ink to the medium applied with the inhibitor. The control unit causes an amount of the ink applied per unit area in the second printing mode to be smaller than an amount of the ink applied per unit area in the first printing mode.

摘要: An image formation device includes a plurality of nozzles arranged at an interval D [in], a processor which forms an image of a resolution R [dpi] on the basis of print data and a memory which stores computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, performs a process including performing ejection control, ejection control including relatively moving the nozzles in the sub scan direction a plurality of times from a print start position on the basis of a reference LF value, when performing printing with respect to each of pixels of adjacent pixels at a high density Ph [%], relatively moving the nozzles in the main scan direction less than a (j×R×D) number of times, and a total of the densities of the ink of each of the pixels of the adjacent pixels is caused to be the high density Ph [%].
