摘要: The present invention relates to a container for transport and storage of excavator attachments. In particular, but not exclusively, the present invention relates to a container for securing excavator attachments on a trailer. A container for retaining an excavator attachment on a trailer comprises a lower portion including a base, a pair of opposing end walls, and a front wall; a lid connected to the lower portion and arranged to pivot between a first position, in which the container may receive an excavator attachment, and a second position, in which the excavator attachment is retained by the container; and a coupling configured to secure the container to a trailer such that the end walls of the lower portion are adjacent side walls of the trailer and the front wall of the lower portion is adjacent a front wall of the trailer, wherein a depth of the lid, in a direction perpendicular to the base of the container, is greater than a depth of the lower portion.

摘要: A trailer for transporting a vehicle includes a longitudinal beam extending between a forward end from which the trailer is towed and a rearward end. The trailer includes a platform having a top extending between a back and a front of the platform. The top has a support for receiving a rearward wheel of the vehicle. The platform has a mount for releasably attaching the beam to the platform. The platform has an axle extending laterally below a bottom of the platform. The trailer includes a carriage assembly having frame. A top surface of the frame includes a rest for supporting a forward wheel of the vehicle. The carriage assembly includes a connector for selectively connecting the carriage assembly to the beam in front of the platform so the carriage assembly is moveable along the beam.

摘要: Primary vehicles having cameras or other sensors generate and transmit instructions for causing secondary vehicles, such as personal delivery devices, to travel on selected courses and speeds. The primary vehicles capture and process images or other data to determine positions or orientations of the secondary vehicle, to detect any obstacles, and to select courses or speeds for the secondary vehicle based on the locations of the obstacles or one or more objectives of a task or function. Alternatively, the secondary vehicles may also capture images or other data, and transmit the images or data to the primary vehicle for processing. The secondary vehicles may include one or more fiducials having visual markings thereon. The visual identifiers are fixed in their orientations with respect to the secondary vehicles, such that positions or orientations of the secondary vehicles may be determined upon detecting the markings within imaging data.

In some embodiments, a shopping facility personal assistance system comprises: a plurality of motorized transport units located in and configured to move through a shopping facility space; a plurality of user interface units, each corresponding to a respective motorized transport unit during use of the respective motorized transport unit; and a central computer system having a network interface such that the central computer system wirelessly communicates with one or both of the plurality of motorized transport units and the plurality of user interface units, wherein the central computer system is configured to control movement of the plurality of motorized transport units through the shopping facility space based at least on inputs from the plurality of user interface units.

摘要: According to some embodiments, a wheel restraint system comprises a chock track coupled to a vehicle transport, an anchor mandrel, a ratchet mandrel, and a strap. The anchor mandrel is coupled to the chock track on a first side of a vehicle tire and comprises a pair of strap guides. The distance between the pair of strap guides is wider than the strap. The ratchet mandrel is coupled to the chock track on a second side of the tire. The ratchet mandrel comprises a ratchet for applying a rotational force and a slot for receiving the strap. The slot is wider than the strap. One end of the strap is coupled to the anchor mandrel and the other is inserted into the ratchet mandrel slot. Applying a rotational force to the ratchet mandrel produces a tightening force that tightens the strap around a portion of the vehicle tire.

摘要: An assistance vehicle tilt lift supports an assistance vehicle above a bed of a hauling vehicle and includes one or more pivoting racks. Each pivoting rack includes a track to receive one or more wheels of the assistance vehicle. Each pivoting rack is rotatably attached to a pivot point near the front end of the bed of the hauling vehicle. One or more tapered rails are attached to the bed of the hauling vehicle. One or more roller support members are in contact with the one or more tapered rails and rotatably attached to the one or more pivoting racks. An actuator is operably connected to the one or more roller support members. The actuator raises and lowers the rear end of the one or more pivoting racks relative to the pivot point by moving the one or more roller support members along the one or more tapered rails.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses are provided for use in monitor power levels at a shopping facility, comprising: central control system separate and distinct from a plurality of self-propelled motorized transport units, wherein the central control system comprises: a transceiver configured to wirelessly receive communications from the plurality of motorized transport units; a control circuit coupled with the transceiver; and a memory coupled to the control circuit and storing computer instructions that cause the control circuit to: identify available stored power levels at each of the plurality of motorized transport units; identify an available recharge station, of a plurality of recharge stations distributed throughout the shopping facility, at least relative to a location of the first motorized transport unit intended to be subjected to recharging; and wirelessly communicate one or more instructions to cause the first motorized transport unit to cooperate with an available recharge station.
