The first electric circuit and the second electric circuit are operated independently of each other.

摘要: A braking control device includes: a master cylinder having a master chamber defined by a master piston; and a first pressure regulation unit having a servo chamber located on an opposite side of the master chamber and supplying a servo pressure to the servo chamber to generate a master pressure in the master chamber. The first pressure regulation unit acquires the master pressure and servo pressure and determines bottoming out of the master piston based on a comparison between the master and servo pressures. The first pressure regulation unit may make the comparison based on pressure-receiving area of the servo chamber and a pressure-receiving area of the master chamber. If the servo chamber pressure-receiving area is equal to the master chamber pressure-receiving area, the first pressure regulation unit determines bottoming out occurs when a difference between the servo pressure and the master pressure equals or exceeds a predetermined pressure.

摘要: A parking brake device includes a fluid unit including: a fluid pump that suctions brake fluid from a master cylinder using a first electric motor; and a pressure regulating valve that increases pressure of the brake fluid discharged by the fluid pump and supplies the increased pressure to a wheel cylinder as a brake fluid pressure, the fluid unit causing the brake fluid pressure to press a friction member against a rotating member fixed to vehicle wheels to generate a braking force, an electrically-powered unit that uses a second electric motor and generates the braking force on a parking wheel on which a parking brake is applied among the vehicle wheels, and a controller that controls the fluid unit and the electrically-powered unit. When the parking brake is actuated, the controller increases only the brake fluid pressure corresponding to the parking wheel in the wheel cylinder.

In the case of a reduced availability of the linear actuator, a holding mode is carried out, in which the hydraulic pressure in the wheel brakes is shut in with the valve arrangement and a power output of the linear actuator is reduced, the system pressure gradient in the holding mode is measured, and a transition from the holding mode into an alternative mode is carried out based on the system pressure gradient.

摘要: An electropneumatic rail brake system configured to provide emergency braking including an emergency magnet valve which controls air flow into an emergency regulator valve, which valve has an emergency back-up chamber. The emergency regulator provides an output pressure nominally equal to the variable load pressure and no lower than the tare back-up. The magnet valve is closed when energized and when de-energized, pressure is allowed into the emergency back-up chamber, Regulation of the brake cylinder pressure continues during an emergency application such that the brake cylinder pressure applied during an emergency stop does not drop below a predetermined level. In the event of power-loss during an emergency brake stop, the nominal emergency brake pressure is applied to the brake cylinders.

摘要: Methods and systems automatically scale and set trailer brake gain without a need for vehicle driver input and without testing. Scaling a trailer brake gain of a trailer towed by a vehicle includes obtaining sensor data via one or more sensors of the vehicle, including from a hitch load sensor. A processor computes a trailer resistance force of the trailer based on the sensor data. The processor automatically updates the trailer brake gain based on both the sensor data and the trailer resistance force.

摘要: A braking control device includes: a control unit that is configured to control front-wheel braking power and rear-wheel braking power based on braking power distribution and requested braking power; a distribution setting unit that is configured to set the braking power distribution; and a slip judgment unit that is configured to judge whether or not the vehicle is in a rear-wheel-led slip state. If it is judged that the vehicle is in the rear-wheel-led slip state when the braking power distribution is first braking power distribution, the distribution setting unit executes a distribution shifting process of shifting the braking power distribution to second braking power distribution within a predetermined period. The second braking power distribution is such distribution that the rear-wheel braking power is reduced relative to that observed when the first braking power distribution is set as the braking power distribution.
