摘要: A power-operated hydraulic brake system for a wheeled vehicle includes a main brake line; a brake valve configured to input a target brake pressure into the main brake line, the brake vale configured to be actuated via a brake pedal; a plurality of wheel brake lines branching off from the brake valve, each of which leads to an actuating unit of a wheel brake; and a valve assembly of an ABS control system. The valve assembly includes an inlet valve arranged between the main brake line and one of the wheel brake lines, and an outlet valve arranged between the relevant wheel brake line and an unpressurized return line. The inlet valve and the outlet valve are pressure-controlled 2/2-way switching valves with correspondingly large switching cross sections, and the inlet valve and the outlet valve are each assigned at least one pilot valve designed as a solenoid switching valve.

摘要: Systems and methods for a braking a vehicle. In one example, the braking system includes a friction braking system, a regenerative braking system, and an electronic processor. The electronic processor is communicatively coupled to the friction braking system and the regenerative braking system. The electronic processor is configured to receive a driver brake request and determine a brake failure state. The brake failure state indicates a brake failure. In response to determining the brake failure state, the electronic processor applies a braking force based on the driver brake request. The braking force includes a frictional braking force generated by the friction braking system and a regenerative braking force generated by the regenerative braking system.

摘要: Provided is a vehicle brake control device which is capable of suitably executing brake assistance processing, even if a sensor for detecting the pressure inside a variable-pressure chamber of a vacuum booster is not provided. A brake device is provided with: a vacuum booster for assisting an operation force inputted to a brake pedal; a master cylinder which generates MC pressure Pmc corresponding to the assisted operation force; wheel cylinders which are provided to wheels, and in which WC pressure is increased as the MC pressure Pmc is increased; and a brake actuator capable of adjusting the WC pressure. When it is determined that emergency braking is requested, a control device of the brake device sets, as the assistance limit pressure, the MC pressure Pmc at that point in time, and operates the brake actuator, to execute brake assistance processing for assisting WC pressure increase.

摘要: A method for boosting a braking force in an electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system, as well as an electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system. Vehicle brake systems of this kind are at least equipped with a power brake unit and electronic slip-controllable vehicle brake system. In the case of a malfunction of the power brake unit, the traction-slip control device (92) takes over the boosting. A method for determining a composite signal which is adjusted by controlling a drive of a pressure generator of the slip-controllable vehicle brake system accordingly. To this end, an electronic control unit records two mutually independent input quantities, converts these input quantities into evaluation signals and sums the evaluation signals mathematically to yield a composite signal. The latter represents a setpoint brake pressure that the slip-controllable vehicle brake system supplies by controlling a pressure generator accordingly.

摘要: The invention relates to an improved plunger assembly for a vehicle brake system. The plunger assembly is operable as a pressure source to control brake fluid pressure supplied to one or more wheel brakes. The plunger assembly comprises a housing defining a cylinder; a reversible motor supported by the housing and having a rotor; and a linear actuator such as a ball screw/nut mechanism driven by the motor. A plunger head is mounted in the cylinder and driven by the linear actuator in first and second opposite directions. Improvements include the plunger assembly engage at least one seal that defines a portion of a pressurized chamber. An end cap covers the projecting end of the cylinder and is secured to the housing to define a fluid passageway between the end of the cylinder and at least one fluid passageway provided in the housing block.

摘要: Provided is an electric booster which can be downsized by enhancing space efficiency while reducing the effect of a magnetic field from outside on a magnetic sensor by means of a magnetic shield. The stroke amount of an input plunger 29 connected to a brake pedal 6 is detected by a stroke detection sensor. The operation of an electric motor is controlled by controller on the basis of the stroke amount of the input plunger to thrust a primary piston through a ball screw mechanism, and brake fluid pressure is thus generated by a master cylinder 4. The stroke detection device uses a Hall IC to detect magnetic flux densities from first and second magnet members mounted on the input plunger to obtain the stroke of the input plunger. The first and second magnet members and the Hall IC are disposed inside a linear-motion member formed of a cylindrical magnetic body of the ball screw mechanism to be magnetically shielded.
