摘要: A radar-based system for communicating information to a vehicle uses spatially-encoded markers that are positioned proximate to a roadway traveled by the vehicle. The markers are designed to convey a unique radar signature that distinguishes the markers from other objects. The unique radar signature or marker characteristics are further interpreted by at least one controller on the vehicle as encoded messages. Marker distinguishing characteristics, such as size, shape, orientation and movement, provide distinct information to the controller. The controller may use the conveyed information to make control decisions for the vehicle or to display the conveyed information to occupants of the vehicle. In some cased, the controller may use the conveyed information to determine a location of the vehicle, such as a position of the vehicle within a lane.

摘要: A ride system includes a track, a ride vehicle assembly, a coupling, and an actuation assembly. The ride vehicle assembly includes a first ride vehicle configured to move along the track and a second ride vehicle configured to move along the track. The coupling is configured to block a decoupling of the first ride vehicle from the second ride vehicle in response to the ride vehicle assembly being in a first interval of the track. The actuation assembly may be configured to actuate the coupling to cause a decoupling of the first ride vehicle from the second ride vehicle in response to the ride vehicle assembly being in a second interval of the track, different than the first interval.

摘要: Subway tunnel intelligent monitoring method and system relate to the field of track detection. The method includes: activating the inspection device to inspect the track section and detect foreign objects; when the inspection device detects the foreign object during foreign object detection, identifying and acquiring a volume of the foreign object, and according to a correspondence between a range interval to which the volume of the foreign object belongs and a processing scheme, determining the processing scheme for the foreign object with the corresponding volume; implementing the processing scheme for the foreign object with the corresponding volume.

摘要: A system and method for detecting the operational status of a brake system on a railcar. The system receives from a sensor an indication of the magnitude of a braking force applied by the braking system in response to an instruction to increase or decrease the braking force. It compares the response to possible responses of the braking system in view of the instruction provided. Based on the comparison, the system generates at least one of a message and/or an alert indicating the status of the brake system. Additional sensors, including a pressure sensor on a brake pipe of the railcar, can be added for additional functionality.

摘要: Disclosed is a coupler for a coupling arrangement for a rail wagon. The coupler comprising a body and a knuckle. The body has a head portion at one end for engaging with a knuckle and a butt portion at an opposing end for engaging with a yoke. The knuckle extends between a protruding portion that engages a complementary knuckle of a coupler for an adjoining rail wagon, and a tail extending along a longitudinal axis for coupling the knuckle with the head portion of the coupler. The head portion comprises an interior wall defining an interior cavity for engaging the tail of the knuckle. The coupler is configured such that in use loading induced in the coupler is transferred between the knuckle and the head portion along a substantially evenly distributed load path.
