The first rail (12A) and the second rail (12B) are oriented longitudinally and spaced transversely from each other to define a track (12). The system comprises a trolley (13), movable along the track (12) and including a movement actuator (131), configured to move the trolley (13) on the track (12).

摘要: Systems and methods for improved operations of ski lifts increase skier safety at on-boarding and off-boarding locations by providing an always-on, always-alert system that “watches” these locations, identifies developing problem situations, and initiates mitigation actions. One or more video cameras feed live video to a video processing module. The video processing module feeds resulting sequences of images to an artificial intelligence (AI) engine. The AI engine makes an inference regarding existence of a potential problem situation based on the sequence of images. This inference is fed to an inference processing module, which determines if the inference processing module should send an alert or interact with the lift motor controller to slow or stop the lift.

摘要: An Urban Intermodal Freight System is capable of transporting large volumes and tonnage of freight by containerized or other means on a mass transit rail system. It captures excess capacity in the existing mass transit rail infrastructure to move packages, parcels, and freight by using miniaturized intermodal cargo containers that are designed to integrate seamlessly with the existing transit infrastructure, while displacing delivery trucks from increasingly crowded city streets. By enabling inbound trucks to transfer their cargo to the Urban Intermodal Freight System at a city's outskirts, freight is delivered without trucks entering congested downtown areas, greatly alleviating traffic congestion, delays, greenhouse gas emissions and other negative environmental impacts. The Linear Loading Dock and Conveyor System may have other useful applications, for example to access a facility, building or vehicle, or in other circumstances where off street truck parking or loading docks are not available.

摘要: The invention refers to a system for monitoring the position of the doors of a moving car in a cable transportation system, the car comprising two doors and the monitoring system comprising an electronic control unit. The monitoring system comprises a detection target on each door, and a fixed detection device, such as a proximity switch with a field of action, which emits a detection signal when a target passes through the field of action, which is connected to the control unit and is positioned so that it can emit a detection signal when the car passes through a control zone. The control unit determines that the two doors of the car are correctly positioned if the distance between the two doors is less than a predetermined opening threshold.
