    摘要: A track section (10) adapted to be linked to a plurality of similar track sections to form a track belt for mounting around the outer periphery of vehicle tyres. The track section comprises a crossbar member (11) and two lateral support members (12). A ground engageable support surface is provided on the outer side (14) of the crossbar member and comprises first and second elongated support surface sections (16, 17) extending in parallel with each other in the longitudinal direction of the crossbar member on opposite sides of a longitudinal centre line of the crossbar member. Each one of these elongated support surface sections (16, 17) is undulated, at least over a major part of its longitudinal extension, so as to form undulated support surface areas (18) with wave crests (19)and wave troughs (20) extending in the cross-direction of the crossbar member.

    摘要: The invention relates to an anti-skid chain, in particular for forestry and agricultural vehicles. The anti-skid chain is to permit high traction, while it has a low weight and can be easily mounted. It should simultaneously be permitted for driving on roads. To enable this, an anti-skid chain to be attached to two wheels with tires disposed one behind the other at fixed distances, in particular for the two wheels of a tandem axle, is provided according to the invention. The anti-skid chain comprises two lateral, laterally stable guide chains which are located, in the mounted state, laterally of the tread of the tires. Between the two guide chains, a chain mesh with chain strands extends. Preferably, the chain mesh is subdivided into ladder sections which are only connected to each other via the guide chain. Joint points of the guide chains are located in a radial position between the radius of the tire shoulder and the tire center. The guide chains are in particular embodied as plate link chains.

A reinforcing member (48) connects the links (26) with the bolts (36) so as to reinforce an open side between the links (26). Therefore, the links (26) are prevented from being damaged due to concentration of stress on a specific portion of each link (26).

    摘要: An endless track includes an iron link belt, a continuous pad, and a connecting device. The iron link belt includes a link unit assembly constructed of a plurality of link units connected to each other. Each link unit includes a pair of links. The iron link belt may include a plate welded to the pair of links and extending perpendicularly to a direction in which the link unit assembly extends. The continuous pad includes the same number of core metal plates as that of the link units and a single urethane rubber belt covering and being attached to a ground opposing surface of each of the core metal plates. The urethane rubber belt extends continuously over all of the core metal plates. The urethane rubber belt may include a small thickness portion positioned between two adjacent core metal plates. The connecting device connects the iron link belt and the continuous pad.

    摘要: The track lock for snowmobiles is a portable anti-theft device secured to the track of a snowmobile. The device is in the form of a main arm which is longer than a standard snowmobile track. Clamps are included for securing the main bar to the track in the form of one fixed clamp and one movable clamp. A lock is provided for fixing the movable clamp in place while the device is in use. Wings extend outward from the device across outer edge sections of the track to prevent the device from being removed by cutting the track. Guards in the form of flanges are also included on the device to surround and protect the locking mechanism. A flexible member extends through the main arm and connects between the first and second clamps. The flexible member is made of a suitable high tensile strength material to resist being cut therethrough.
