摘要: A wireless power system for vehicle wheels is described. The system includes a magnetic field generator, e.g., a permanent magnet, embedded or disposed in a fixed position, e.g., in a wheel well or brake caliper(s), and a wireless power receiver embedded or disposed in a wheel rim or wheel trim. As the wheel rotates and receiver antenna(s) cross a flux path produced by the power transmitter, an alternating current signal is produced at the receiver, which is converted to a direct current signal, regulated, and delivered to various electronic components in the vehicle wheel. The received power can be used to charge a battery or power light emitting diodes (LEDs). A wireless communication module embedded in the vehicle wheel can be used to wirelessly control and monitor the electronic components, e.g., to change intensity or strobe periodicity of LEDs or monitor sensors.

The installation aid allows for an easy installation since in particular screw holes in the bicycle frame tube are flush with threaded bore holes in the battery.

摘要: A human-powered vehicle control device includes an electronic controller that controls a transmission device to shift a ratio of a rotational speed of a wheel to a rotational speed of a crank axle. The controller controls the transmission device between first, second, and third control states. The controller controls the transmission device in the first control state for a predetermined period in a case where the human-powered vehicle starts to travel until a vehicle state becomes a predetermined state. The controller switches from the first to the second control state if the vehicle state becomes the predetermined state. The controller switches from the first to the third control state if a human driving force input to the human-powered vehicle becomes greater than a predetermined driving force during the predetermined period. Shifting of the ratio is more restricted in the first control state than the second and third control states.
