    摘要: A vehicle has a frame, at least two wheels, a motor, a straddle seat defining a driver seat portion and a passenger seat portion at least partially rearward of the driver seat portion, left and right passenger footrests connected to the frame, the left and right passenger footrests each being movable between a stowed position and a deployed position, a passenger footrest position sensor for sensing a position of at least one of the left and right passenger footrests, and an electronic stability system electronically connected to the passenger footrest position sensor for receiving a signal from the passenger footrest position sensor indicative of the position of the at least one of the left and right passenger footrests. An output of the electronic stability system is defined at least in part on the signal from the passenger footrest position sensor.

    摘要: A method of mounting a storage unit to a vehicular apparatus, such as a motorcycle, includes the step of securing a cantilevered mounting member having a mounting plate to the frame of the vehicular apparatus. A storage device can be connected to the mounting plate to stabilize the storage device as the vehicular apparatus is in motion. As a preferred embodiment, the method of mounting begins with the removal of a foot peg from a motorcycle to expose the foot peg mounting bracket to which the mounting member is affixed. The mounting plate of the mounting member can be used to secure articles to be transported by the vehicular apparatus with or without a separate storage device.

    摘要: Motorized hub assemblies for use with platforms and the corresponding motorized platforms are presented. At least one of the hub assemblies can be a motor and can contain an internal motor to propel the platform when activated. In some embodiments, the motorized platform has two sets of motorized wheels or two sets or motorized treads for differential rate maneuvering. In some embodiments, different base platforms are mounted to a single set of wheels or a single tread to provide a sporty style ride. A handlebar can also be implemented for greater stability. In all cases, there is no requirement for an electronic stabilization platform.

The bicycle frame attachable kneeling pad is adaptable to a standard bicycle to provide new coaster usage where a user can propel forward with an active push leg, like a scooter, while resting a passive or compromised leg in the kneeling pad. The bicycle frame attachable kneeling pad includes a kneeling pad for supporting a user's passive or compromised leg while coasting on the bicycle, and a frame assembly for facilitating the assembly of the kneeling pad to the bicycle frame. The frame assembly may further include one or more crank arms that are attachable to a bottom bracket of the bicycle. The crank arms may then assemble with the frame member to ultimately attach the kneeling pad to the bicycle frame to provide the new coaster usage.

    摘要: A platform having a suspension system may include a platform with a column or parallel columns of any cross section shape rigidly protruding from one side of the platform, a base having a pipe for each column to slide along the inside of the pipe, at least one leaf spring between the base and the platform for absorbing shocks. The relative positions of these parts are kept by sliders, slider guides and position limiters so that the platform can move only in one dimension generally parallel to the pipe. Various embodiments are disclosed for using as foot platforms in one or two-wheeled self-balancing vehicles. These embodiments are simple, compact and light modules to be adapted easily in such vehicles, without affecting the balancing and steering. Some embodiments enable users to change leaf springs and adjust damping. Embodiments of foldable platform are also disclosed.
