    摘要: A shock absorbing device may include a housing, a piston, and membrane. The housing may define space. The piston may move within the space to adjust a pressure of a gas in a main spring chamber to form a gas spring. The piston and the housing may partially define the main spring chamber within the space. The membrane may be positioned in the space. The housing and the membrane may define a secondary spring chamber within the space. The membrane may partially define the main spring chamber and may be sufficiently elastic such that when the piston adjusts the pressure of the gas in the main spring chamber, a force applied on the membrane by the gas in the main spring chamber changes and causes the membrane to selectively deform to adjust a pressure of gas in the secondary spring chamber to control a spring rate of the gas spring.

A plurality of buttons are configured for operation by the vehicle operator's thumb with the operator's hand positioned adjacent the outboard end of the housing, the plurality of buttons including an inboard button, an outboard button, and a center button between the inboard and outboard buttons. Each one of the plurality of buttons is operable from an at-rest position to an activated position by directly pressing inward on an outer surface thereof. The inboard button is additionally operable from its at-rest position to its activated position by pressing an outboard portion of the center button in a direction toward the inboard button.

    摘要: A shock absorber with a vehicle height adjustment function according to the present invention includes a shock absorber main body that includes a cylinder filled with liquid, a piston that partitions inside of the cylinder into an extension side chamber and a compression side chamber, a piston rod coupled to the piston, a suspension spring that biases the shock absorber main body in an extending direction, a reservoir that accumulates liquid, a damper circuit that is connected to the extension side chamber, the compression side chamber, and the reservoir and generates a damping force in the shock absorber main body at the time when the shock absorber main body expands/contracts, a pump that is able to suck liquid from the reservoir and discharge the liquid, and a switching valve that is installed between the shock absorber main body and the damper circuit and the pump and switches a damper mode in which the shock absorber main body is connected to the damper circuit so as to generate a damping force in the shock absorber main body and a vehicle height adjustment mode in which the shock absorber main body is connected to the pump.

    摘要: A cycle has a frame, a seat, a rear wheel, a front fork and handlebar, a front wheel rotatably secured to the front fork, and first and second pedals removably connected to the front wheel. The seat has a base, a top portion pivotally connected to the base to move between an open position and a closed position, and a cavity between the base and the top portion that is accessible when the top portion is in open position. The cavity has receivers that are sized to hold the first and second pedals after the first and second pedals are removed from the front wheel. The top portion can be moved to the closed position when the first and second pedals are in the receivers to store the first and second pedals in the cavity of the seat.

In an illustrative example, the side car may include a wheel with an axis of rotation along an axis adjacent to and between a front wheel axis of rotation of a vehicle and a rear wheel axis of rotation of the vehicle. Some embodiments may include a configuration where the axis of rotation of the wheel is centered below a center of a rear wheel axis of rotation of the vehicle. The sidecar frame may be coupled to a vehicle frame by at least three arms. The configuration of the placement of the axis of rotation of the side car wheel between the axis of rotation of the front and back wheel of the vehicle may advantageously prevent tipping and instability. Various embodiments may improve the suspension of the vehicle-side car system.
