摘要: A bicycle rear wheel suspension system includes a first link and a second link both pivotally attached to the main frame and to a rear stay or swingarm member. A third link is activated by the first or the second link. The third link activates a fourth link. Either the third or the fourth link can be attached to the main frame at one pivot point. One end of the shock absorber is attached to the third or fourth link at another pivot point. The shock absorber has its other end attached to the first or second link that is not receiving said third link. The third and fourth links are responsible for tuning of the suspension rate characteristics, whereas the first and second links are responsible for precisely defining the rear wheel axle trajectory as the suspension system compresses.

The position adjusting system includes an adjustable seat support movably connected to the hub, an adjustable handle bar support movably connected to the hub, and a releasable position locking system configured to lock the position of the components of the vehicle relative to the hub. The hub includes a first portion and second portion, wherein the first and second portions are moveably connected to one another, such as by pivoting, sliding, or a combination of pivoting and sliding.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to electric road-legal vehicles, and provides a pedal-assisted RTO registrable two-wheeled electric vehicle (20). The vehicle (20) includes a hub motor (8) mounted on its rear wheel (9) axle, and a pedal assembly (6). The vehicle (20) houses a battery pack (2), and a swing arm. The battery pack (2) drives the hub motor (8) at power greater than 250 Watts and top speed greater than 25 kmph. A sensing unit senses the angular displacement of an accelerator (1) to generate a sensed displacement value. A torque sensor (7) is fitted in the frame near the pedals, to sense the torque applied by the pedal assembly (6) while driving, and generate a sensed torque value. A control module receives the sensed displacement value and the sensed torque value to generate an actuating signal for supplying power from the battery pack (2) to drive the hub motor (8).

摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed that assist a user in performing proper setup of a vehicle suspension. A user may utilize a device equipped with an image sensor to assist the user in proper setup of a vehicle suspension. The device executes an application that prompts the user for input and instructs the user to perform a number of steps for adjusting the suspension components. In one embodiment, the application does not communicate with sensors on the vehicle. In another embodiment, the application may communicate with various sensors located on the vehicle to provide feedback to the device during the setup routine. In one embodiment, the device may analyze a digital image of a suspension component to provide feedback about a physical characteristic of the component.

摘要: A multi-mode air shock is disclosed herein. The air shock includes an air spring having a primary air chamber, and a damper having an insertion end to telescope within the primary air chamber and a coupler to couple with a portion of a vehicle. An adjuster housing is fixedly coupled to an end of the air spring opposite of the damper, the adjuster housing having a secondary air chamber in communication with the primary air chamber and a mounting structure to couple with a different portion of the vehicle. There is a bulkhead with a valve to open or close the fluid communication between the primary air chamber and the secondary air chamber. The air shock also includes a tertiary air chamber in fluid communication with the secondary air chamber but not in fluid communication with the primary air chamber except via the secondary air chamber.
