摘要: A radio controlled (RC) vehicle includes a receiver that is coupled to receive an RF signal from a remote control device, the RF signal containing command data in accordance with a first coordinate system, wherein the first coordinate system is from a perspective of the remote control device. A motion sensing module generates motion data based on the motion of the RC vehicle. A processing module transforms the command data into control data in accordance with a second coordinate system, wherein the second coordinate system is from a perspective of the RC vehicle. A plurality of control devices control the motion of the RC vehicle based on the control data.

摘要: A concentric, double hull, damage tolerant airframe vehicle double clad with a lightweight, impact resistant ceramic matrix composite for heat shielding and flame resistance, and fitted with insulation, to provide thermal protection from 35° C. to 1,650° C. of the internal fuselage areas for an extended period of time within an extreme heat environment, that will serve as a semi or fully autonomous vehicle, manned or unmanned, preferably an unmanned aerial vehicle designed as the delivery means to suppress or extinguish flames by repeatedly discharging pressure waves against flames without having to exit the fire environment.

摘要: A drone loaded with a package takes off from a takeoff device and uses a GPS system to fly to a user house that is a delivery destination of the package as the destination. Further, when the drone approaches the user house that is the destination, the flight of the drones is switched from autonomous navigation using the GPS system to remote control performed by a landing device and an in-house control device installed in the user house. The drone lands on the landing device by remote control from the landing device and the in-house control device, separates the package, and then returns to the warehouse using the GPS system and lands on the takeoff device.

摘要: A method is provided for horizon detection. The method includes acquiring an image that depicts a view of an environment, and defining a line pattern of lines that divide the image into respective pairs of image segments. The line pattern is formed of lines that are parallel, or intersecting at a common point of intersection. The method includes searching the lines of the line pattern to identify one of the lines as an estimated true horizon in the image that divides the image into a respective pair of image segments at a boundary of greatest difference in average brightness between the image segments from among the respective pairs of image segments. The method includes determining true horizon in the image from the estimated true horizon. The method may also include an evaluation of the estimated true horizon or the true horizon as to verify one or more expected characteristics.

摘要: A computing system and methods are provided for georeferencing stabilization. An exemplary method includes: obtaining a video stream capturing an area from a camera of a drone, where the video stream includes a plurality of frames, each including a field of view of the image capturing device and metadata of the image capturing device when the frame is captured; constructing a geographic (geo) lattice for the field of view in each of the plurality of frames, the geo lattice comprises a plurality of points, each being associated with raw coordinates determined based on the corresponding metadata; and building a lattice map with stabilized geo coordinates by (1) aligning the frames, (2) averaging the raw geo coordinates for given intersection points, and (3) building the lattice map based on the averaged geo coordinates of the intersection points.

摘要: A damage identification (DI) system for identifying property damage may include a drone fleet including several autonomous or semi-autonomous drones communicatively coupled together and a DI computing device. Each drone may collect drone-collected damage data, including image data. The DI computing may assign a geographical region to the drone fleet. The drone fleet may automatically navigate to, and then within, the geographical region to detect potential damage to properties. The DI computing device may further receive drone-collected damage data associated with a property within the geographical region from the drone fleet when the drone fleet determines the property is actually or potentially damaged, generate aggregated damage data associated with the property based at least partially upon the drone-collected damage data, and/or store the aggregated damage data in a blockchain structure associated with the property for damage assessment of the property.

摘要: An authorization system includes a controller of an external computing device communicatively connected to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The controller obtains a mission kit that includes software for controlling a piece of equipment configured to be assembled on the UAV. The controller receives a license that is associated with a user and determines, based on the license, whether the piece of equipment is authorized for operation on the UAV as controlled by the user. Responsive to determining that the piece of equipment is authorized, the controller initiates transmission of at least some of the software of the mission kit to the UAV for installation by the UAV to allow the user to operate the piece of equipment.
