摘要: A situational awareness system for aerial refueling is disclosed. In embodiments, the situational awareness system may include one or more millimeter wave devices of a tanker aircraft configured to transmit one or more emitter signals toward an aircraft to be refueled, and receive one or more reflected signals reflected from the aircraft to be refueled. In embodiments, the situational awareness system further includes a controller communicatively coupled to the one or more millimeter wave devices and the display device, the controller configured to determine a distance between a refueling assembly of the tanker aircraft and the aircraft to be refueled based on the one or more reflected signals, and generate one or more control signals configured to cause a display substrate of a display device to display at least one of a metric or image indicative of the determined distance.

摘要: An automatic aircraft positioning system includes a first aircraft including one more fiducials, and a second aircraft including a positioning radar, control devices that are configured to control operation of the second aircraft, and a control unit in communication with the positioning radar and the control devices. The positioning radar is configured to transmit a radar transmit signal. The one or more fiducials are configured to receive the radar transmit signal and output one or more return signals in response to the radar transmit signal. The positioning radar is configured to receive the one or more return signals and determine a position and orientation of the second aircraft relative to the first aircraft, or vice versa, from the one or more return signals. The control unit is configured to automatically control the second aircraft in relation to the first aircraft during an automatic positioning mode.

摘要: Provided is a flying body comprising an antenna for forming a communication area by a beam irradiated toward the ground to provide wireless communication service for a user terminal in the communication area; and an attachment/detachment part configured to physically attach to and detach from another flying body for combining with and separating from another flying body. Provided is also a flying body comprising an antenna for forming a communication area by a beam irradiated toward the ground to provide wireless communication service for a user terminal in the communication area; a cable having an attachment/detachment part configured to physically attach to and detach from another flying body; a cable communication unit configured to communicate with another flying body via the cable; and an electric power transmission unit configured to transmit electric power with another flying body via the cable.

摘要: A refuelling system is disclosed having a fuel conduit, a variable-position valve for controlling a rate of flow of fuel leaving the conduit, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive from a sensor arrangement a measurement of an electrostatic condition in a fuel tank being fuelled by the system. The controller is configured to control the variable-position valve to control the rate of flow of fuel based at least in part on the measurement received from the sensor arrangement.

摘要: A container may be supplied with an incompressible fluid. For example, the container may be partially or completely prefilled with the incompressible fluid. The container may be supplied with a flow of compressible gas via a first valve. The first valve may regulate the flow of the compressible gas supplied to the container based on a pressure setting of the first valve. A second valve may release the incompressible fluid from the container as the container is filled with the compressible gas and in response to a pressure of the container being greater than a pressure setting of the second valve. The pressure setting of the first valve may be greater than the pressure setting of the second valve.
