摘要: A system for packaging dosed quantities of solid drug portions comprises a plurality of dosing stations for dispensing a dosed quantity of solid drug portions, a plurality of guiding ducts, a plurality of collecting containers for receiving drug portions guided through the guiding ducts, and at least one discharge and packaging station for transferring drug portions collected by each collecting container to a packaging and for closing the packaging. The guiding ducts are coupled to a transport means for moving the guiding ducts along the dosing stations, wherein each guiding duct is adapted to receive drug portions dispensed from at least one of the dosing stations when the guiding duct is positioned at the at least one dosing station, and to guide the received drug portions to an passage opening of the guiding duct. The collecting containers are also coupled to the transport means so that each collecting container can be positioned at the passage opening of one of the guiding ducts to receive drug portions guided through the guiding duct.

The method further comprises temporarily storing the customized goods in a side stream process and subsequently re-inserting said goods into the main production process stream. The customized goods may be finally packaged in a dedicated pack or in a pack that also contains non-customized goods. The method is suitable for, but not limited to, articles such as diapers, absorbent products, tissues and other hygienic products.

摘要: A non-destructive measurement unit of gas concentration in sealed containers and an automatic filling and/or packaging line using such a unit are provided. The flexible containers are at least partially optically transparent, and the measurement unit comprises a light source for emitting a light beam at a wavelength tunable with an absorption wavelength of a gas contained in the sealed flexible container. The light source directs the light beam toward at least one inspection area, and a detector detects at least a portion of the beam after the beam passes through the inspection area and outputs data representative of an absorption spectrum of the gas. Means for generating a head space of predefined width into the sealed flexible container is adapted to advance the sealed flexible container by an advancement path which crosses the inspection zone and to maintain the predefined width of the head space during the advancement.

摘要: A method of making a laminated shingle is provided. The method includes coating a shingle mat with roofing asphalt to make an asphalt-coated sheet, adhering a reinforcement member to a portion of the asphalt-coated sheet, covering the asphalt-coated sheet, and optionally covering the reinforcement member, with granules to make a granule-covered sheet, dividing the granule-covered sheet into an overlay sheet and an underlay sheet, wherein the overlay sheet has a tab portion normally exposed on a roof and a headlap portion normally covered-up on a roof, the headlap portion having a lower zone adjacent the tab portion and an upper zone adjacent the lower zone, and wherein the reinforcement member is adhered to the lower zone of the headlap portion and laminating the overlay sheet and the underlay sheet to make the laminated shingle.
