摘要: Systems and methods provide for cleaning the air intake valves and surrounding areas of an engine. A gravity-fed cleaning-fluid dispenser may feed cleaning fluid into a hose through a metered device that meters a rate at which the cleaning fluid flows into the hose. A second fluid meter connected to a distal end of the hose further meters the rate at which a mixture of the cleaning fluid and air from is dispersed into the running GDI engine. Cleaning fluid may be distributed to the engine at a gradually decreasing rate as a volume of cleaning fluid in the dispenser decreases as the service progresses.

The emitter may emit light into the aerosol chamber. The sensor may receive light from the aerosol chamber and measure at least one wavelength of the spectrum of the received light. Direct measurement of parameters, and/or the presence, of the aerosol in the aerosol chamber may be enabled, where the direct measurement of parameters of the aerosol in the aerosol chamber may enable optimal operation of an aerosol-generating system that may be the handheld aerosol-generating device.

摘要: Mechanisms and methods for injecting and sealing pressurized fluid into containment vessels using a divided valve mechanism are disclosed. The invention describes designs and methods in which a valve may be plugged by an actuator, and then the valve and actuator may then be disjoined, allowing the containment vessel to thereby be sealed without the additional mass or volume of the actuation mechanism and without fluid loss from the containment vessel.

摘要: The invention comprises a method for packaging a dispensable substance, such as a food product, whipped cream, a hydrocarbon, or an air freshener, the method comprising the steps of: placing a first product component into a container, the container comprising a valve dispensing port; adding a second product component into the container, the second product component comprising at least one of: (1) a solid form of the second product component and (2) a liquid form of the second product component; sealing the container; and warming, after the step of sealing, the second product component in the container at least ten degrees Celsius, where the step of warming results in a phase change of all of the second product component into a gas phase, at least a portion of the gas phase of the second product component dissolving into the first product component to form the dispensable substance.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to, inter alia, a formulation comprising one or more active agents and one or more thermal stabilizing agents and is co-mingled with a first propellant that is a gas propellant prior to being filled under pressure into said package; the first propellant is added in sufficient amounts to be dispersed in the formulation; the package is under sufficient pressure suitable to expel the formulation as a whipped formulation upon application of external force on said formulation in said package. The present disclosure also relates to, inter alia, a method of preparing the disclosed formulation; a package comprising the disclosed formulation, and a method of using the disclosed formulation.
