摘要： In one aspect, a modular link conveyor chain including slats is capable of assuming a compressed and an expanded condition so as to permit side-flexing while moving along a forward run and a return run in an endless path. The chain is formed of links arranged in rows spaced apart in the conveying direction, the links of a first row including aligned apertures and the links of a second row including oversized apertures, such as slots, for aligning with the aligned apertures of the links in the first row. A first connector is associated with the corresponding apertures to interconnect the first and second rows of links. At least one elongated slat is mounted to the connector. The slat maybe mounted for pivoting movement between a first position forming at least part of a conveying surface along the forward run, and a second position along the return run.

摘要： A modular conveyor belt having longitudinal grooves on the top and bottom of the belt. Pairs of rollers are installed between the links within these grooves such that the rollers do not project over the surface of the belt but are completely integrated into the body. The rollers may be installed directly onto the pivot rods. The belts are supported by rails that enter into the longitudinal grooves to engage with the rollers to carry the belt as it moves. The grooves on the bottom side of the single modules are curved in such a way that the slots form a circle when the belt moves around a sprocket. This configuration allows for steel disks to be installed between the sprockets on the driving and idling shaft. The disks help to support the belt and to improve smooth running of the belts around the sprocket under a high load by taking the radial forces acting when the belt is under high tension.

摘要： A transport system including a curved conveyance section configured for moving articles along a curved conveyance path. At least one turnstile wheel is configured to guide the articles along the curved conveyance path. In some embodiments, the turnstile wheel comprises a first surface configured to guide an exterior vertical belt along a continuous curve on an exterior edge of the curved conveyance path and a second surface configured to guide an interior vertical belt along a continuous curve on an interior edge of the curved conveyance path. The first surface and the second surface are configured to have a common axis of rotation outside the curved conveyance path and to rotate at a same angular velocity. The interior vertical belt and the exterior vertical belt are configured to support the articles as the articles are conveyed along the curved conveyance path. The articles are conveyed along the curved conveyance path without stopping or significantly slowing down. The articles conveyed may include semiconductor wafers or substrates for the manufacture of display devices.

A tracking device is mounted at one of the sidewalls and adjustably supports an end of an adjustable roller of the conveyor. The tracking device adjusts an angle of the adjustable roller relative to the sidewalls to track the belt with the rollers. The tracking device may include a biasing element to urge the end of the adjustable roller to maintain tracking of the belt around the rollers.
