摘要: Embodiments are directed to conveyor systems and methods for controlling induction of items within the conveyor systems. In one scenario, a conveyor control system implements a hardware sensor in a conveyor system to generate sensor readings regarding an operational status of a first zone in an operational environment, where the first zone is an area where orders are fulfilled. The conveyor control system receives sensor data from the hardware sensor of the conveyor system. The sensor data includes feedback information for controlling the conveyor system. The conveyor control system then evaluates the received sensor data to determine which conveyable items are currently in the first zone and, based on the evaluation, induces the conveyable items onto the conveyor for the first zone.

摘要: The invention includes a method and a handling system for manipulating and/or for handling piece goods (2) moved one after another in at least one row (1, 1a, 1b) in a transport direction (TR) on a horizontal conveying device (6). In each work cycle, seizing at least one transported piece good (2) from the at least one row (1, 1a, 1b) by at least one handling device (10); spatially separating it from the row (1, 1a, 1b); and bringing it into a specified relative target position and/or target alignment relative to subsequent piece goods (2). After a failure event with an at least a temporary standstill of the horizontal conveying device (6) and/or of the handling device (10), the handling device (10) is initialized, and, after the failure has been remedied, the horizontal conveying device (6) automatically restarts and continues the previously interrupted process.

摘要: A cascade conveyor for sorting and conveying container closures, such as for conveying and sorting screw closures in a drinks filling installation, comprising at least one sorting bar which can be moved in a conveying direction and which is orientated transversely relative to the conveying direction for conveying the container closures from a collection receptacle which receives unsorted container closures to a closure unloading zone. There may also be provided in the closure unloading zone a conveyor belt which extends when viewed in the gravitational direction below the sorting bar in order to laterally discharge container closures conveyed by the sorting bar.

摘要: An object orientation device includes a shaking stand and a slide provided on the shaking stand; the slide includes a sliding groove and a retaining member on the sliding groove. A retaining member is parallel to and extends along a sliding direction, and has a retaining surface parallel to a side wall of the sliding groove. The retaining surface and the side wall form an orientation space which is parallel to the sliding direction. After asymmetric objects are on the slide and shaken by the shaking stand, each object has a first end restricted into the orientation space, and has a seat orientation and moves towards a predetermined direction. Such object orientation device allows objects to be aligned in the slide and have consistent seat orientations; a printing equipment can print on the same position of each object. Additionally, a system and a method of orientation and printing are provided.

摘要: System and methods for manipulating and sorting of objects being moved along a conveyor are disclosed, whereby control of the object is achieved through the application of one or more of vacuum, impaling, or mechanical grasping. One embodiment is directed to a robotic arm and vision detection system operable for detecting a target object to be grasped from a stream of objects being moved on a conveyor, and moving a suction head into position over the target object that has been detected on the conveyor, the suction head having a flexible cup section disposed at a distal end thereof, the vacuum item pick-up system/method using high subsonic air flow (e.g., on the order of 60 scfm or more) through a suction cup having a flow opening area large enough that an airflow of 60 scfm does not result in an airspeed exceeding Mach 0.2 under standard conditions of temperature and pressure, and further having a flow opening area whose ratio to cup opening area falls between 0.36 and 1.44 for applying a desired vacuum suction force for grasping the target object. Either as a primary grasping mechanism, or as an optional supplemental grasping mechanism, a piercing mechanism may be inserted into the object and used to manipulate the object in space. Alternate systems/methods for manipulating and sorting objects via hitting, flicking, or pushing are also disclosed.

摘要: Systems and methods of de-stemming produce are provided. An apparatus can process an item of produce having a first portion and a second portion attached to the first portion. The apparatus can include at least one first conveyor unit that can convey the first portion of the item of produce in a first direction. The apparatus can include at least one second conveyor unit that can convey the second portion of the item of produce in a second direction that differs from the first linear direction by between zero and 90 degrees to generate a separation force between the first portion of the item of produce and the second portion of the item of produce that separates the first portion from the second portion.

摘要: A singulator conveyor system having conveying surfaces arranged in adjacent parallel configuration for separating and moving side by side packages. The singulator includes a first conveyor conveying lane having a high friction surface for conveying articles forward along a vertical side wall. A second conveyor conveying lane adjacent thereto has a lower friction surface including both forward and lateral conveying forces urging parcels forward and away from the first conveyor conveying lane and side wall. The lateral receiving edge of the second conveyor conveying lane is below the outer lateral edge of the first conveyor conveying lane and the conveying surface is transversely inclined and angled laterally upward having an elevated outer side edge even with or below the lateral receiving edge of an adjacent third conveyor conveying lane having a high friction conveying surface. The conveying surface of the second conveyor forms an inclined plane extending above an inner receiving side edge of the adjacent third conveyor conveying lane.
