摘要: A sheet folder includes a conveyor conveying a sheet, a first folding roller and a second folding roller that form a first nip, a third folding roller forming a second nip with the second folding roller, a first guide movable between a first guide posture and a first retracted posture, a second guide movable between a second guide posture and a second retracted posture, and a motor. The motor rotates the second folding roller forward to convey the sheet toward the first nip, reverse to convey the sheet toward the second nip, moves the first guide to arrange in the first guide in the first guide posture or the first retracted posture, and moves the second guide to arrange the second guide in the second guide posture or the second retracted posture.

摘要: Folder systems and related methods are provided for accurately and efficiently folding a paper carrier that has a card attached without bending or dislodging the card from the carrier. A movable fold chute receives a portion of the carrier with the card attached and allows the carrier to fold while protecting the card portion of the carrier. The fold chute moves between different positions which allow the carrier to enter and exit through folding rollers along a generally straight paper path without forcing the cards around small radii, thereby preventing damage to the cards or causing them to separate from the carrier sheet.

摘要: A post-processing device (200) includes a circulation conveyance path, a zeroth conveyer (R0), and a controller (50). The circulation conveyance path includes a first conveyance path (W1), a second conveyance path (W2), a third conveyance path (W3), a first conveyer (R1), a second conveyer (R2), and a third conveyer (R3). The first and second conveyers convey a preceding sheet (P1) along the first and second conveyance paths. The third conveyer conveys it from the third conveyance path to the first conveyance path. The zeroth conveyer conveys a following sheet (P2) toward the first conveyer. The controller controls the third conveyer to stop the preceding sheet, subsequently controls the zeroth conveyer and the third conveyer to overlay the preceding sheet with the following sheet to form a sheet bundle (Q) having a shift amount (G) between a leading edges of the preceding sheet and the following sheet and strike the leading edges of the preceding sheet and the following sheet against the first conveyer.

摘要: A sheet folding processing apparatus suppresses an increase in size and cost of the apparatus and performs folding processing on continuously conveyed sheets. In the sheet folding processing apparatus, a sheet conveyed by a feeding roller pair and hang in a loop shape in a loop forming space is pushed into a nipping portion of a folding roller pair by a pushing plate, so that the sheet is folded in a Z-shape to form a plurality of fold lines. The sheet is conveyed in the conveyance direction until the sheet rear end passes through the feeding roller pair, and after the sheet rear end is stored in a loop forming space by moving the pushing plate from a position for pushing the sheet into a nipping portion to a retracting position, the reinforcing processing of the fold line of the sheet is performed by an additional folding unit.

摘要: A sheet processing device includes a conveying unit, a presser, an end detector, and a setting unit. The conveying unit conveys a sheet having a crease formed therein. The presser presses the crease in the sheet. The end detector detects an end in a conveying direction of the sheet at a position upstream of the presser in the conveying direction. The setting unit sets a crease position where the crease is to be formed. Upon detection of the end in the conveying direction, the conveying unit conveys the sheet to a position where the crease faces the presser, on the basis of the crease position set by the setting unit. The presser presses the crease in the conveyed sheet.
