According to aspects of the present disclosure, a carrier of a composite reinforcement system for repairing and/or reinforcing a physical structure is disclosed. The carrier includes a plurality of carbon fibers. Each carbon fiber has a longitudinal axis and a length extending in a generally 0 degree direction. The carrier further includes at least one fiberglass fiber having a longitudinal axis and a length extending in a generally 90 degree direction across the plurality of carbon fibers. The plurality of carbon fibers constitute at least about 70 wt % of the carrier and the at least one fiberglass fiber constitutes at most about 30 wt % of the carrier.

A banknote-passing type banknote conveying device, used at a banknote inlet-outlet of an automatic teller machine, includes a mounting lateral plate, a banknote stacking mechanism, a banknote clamping and conveying mechanism, a pressing mechanism, a jacking mechanism, and a central control unit for controlling the operation of the above mechanisms. The banknote-passing type banknote conveying device uses a lifting motor and a connection rod to drive a lifting plate to move the banknotes up and down, and uses a pressing plate to move the banknotes back and forth. The functions of stacking and passing banknotes are achieved in an effective space. Moreover, a pull type electromagnet and a spring are used to control the opening and closing of the banknote clamping and conveying mechanism, thus a traditional motor control method and the like can be omitted, such that the cost is low, and the reliability is high.

Methods of making a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane composite are described. The methods may include applying a sizing composition to a plurality of fibers to make sized fibers, where the sizing composition may include at least one curative for a thermoplastic polyurethane prepolymer. The sized fibers may be contacted with a thermoplastic polyurethane prepolymer composition to form a resin-fiber amalgam, where the thermoplastic polyurethane prepolymer composition includes 50 wt. % or less of a total amount of the curative that is also present on the sized fibers. The resin-fiber amalgam may then be cured to form the fiber-reinforced thermoplastic polyurethane composite.

A strip with perforations formed therein spirals circumferentially over an outer surface of the drum in a circumferential spiralling direction, such that a screen is formed over the drum. A suction system controls a flow of air through the perforations thereby to attract sheets towards the drum. One or various compounds may be used to form portions of one or multiple components that make up the paint roller, including, for example, the thermoplastic strips, adhesives and/or the backing of a composite cover material. The materials can be assembled in a continuous manufacturing process.
