摘要: A method for allocating an elevator in an elevator system constructs passenger batch size distributions for each pair of floors in a building based on passenger batch journeys, each passenger batch journey defining at least the origin and destination floor of the journey, the number of passengers relating to the journey and the time of the journey; receives a call for an elevator; estimates the number of passengers waiting behind the call based on the passenger batch size distributions; and allocates the call to an elevator being able to serve the estimated number of passengers.

摘要: Provided is an elevator system capable of improving the operation efficiency of an elevator. An elevator system according to the present invention includes: first processing circuitry to receive destination floor information transmitted from a movable body having a movement mechanism and second processing circuitry and being capable of boarding and alighting from a car of an elevator, to assign the car, in which a plurality of onboard positions are set, to a call based on the destination floor information received, and to assign one of the plurality of onboard positions to one movable body based on a destination floor of the movable body. The first processing circuitry transmits to the movable body information indicative of the onboard position assigned to the movable body.

摘要: The invention relates to a method and apparatus. In the method a determining a first position of a user of a mobile node is determined at a first time instant. A second position of the user of the mobile node is determined at a second time instant. A time difference is determined between the first time instant and the second time instant. A walking speed of the user is determined using the time difference, the first position and the second position. A third position of the user of the mobile node is determined. A walking time required for the user to reach at least one elevator is determined from the third position based on the walking speed of the user. An elevator call and the walking time are transmitted to an elevator call control node.

摘要: Call information can be used for scheduling runs of elevators in a group of elevators. The scheduling is done so that based on the call allocations a schedule of expected movements, accelerations and decelerations can be computed. Then the movements, accelerations and decelerations may be controlled in order to improve energy efficiency or for controlling the movement in such manner that the energy consumption peaks or duration of these peaks is reduced.

摘要: An exemplary elevator passenger interface device includes a passenger communication component that facilitates communications between a passenger and an elevator system. Such communications include passenger input to request elevator service and information provided to the passenger. A controller controls the passenger communication component to control its functionality including providing selected information to the passenger. The controller includes a customization module configured to change the functionality of the passenger communication component responsive to authorized user input that is distinct from the passenger input. The authorized user input includes a selection of at least one of a feature used to present information to a passenger or a feature used to allow a passenger to request elevator service.

摘要: An elevator group control system, which can perform an appropriate operation so that a user can shorten the time spent until the user arrives at a destination floor in a double-deck elevator performing a double operation in at least one running direction, including a hall operating panel by use of which a user inputs a destination floor in a prescribed hall of an elevator. In a case an operation-prohibited floor of a car stopping at the hall is inputted as a destination floor from the hall operating panel, a group control device registers, as a service floor of the car, a floor preceding or beyond the destination floor inputted from the hall operating panel.

摘要: An exemplary method of controlling an elevator system includes determining that a temporary heavy traffic condition exists that includes a plurality of passengers requiring elevator service from an originating floor in the building that is distinct from a lobby floor. At least one elevator car out of a plurality of elevator cars within the building is temporarily dedicated to carry the passengers from the originating floor. A peak travel scheduling strategy is temporarily used for controlling the dedicated elevator car or cars for a selected period of time.
