摘要: The present invention provides a kind of sleeping pillow complying with the spinal medical theories, including the pillow case and fillers. The space enclosed by the said pillow case is divided into the isolated head bearing area and neck bearing area, and the said head bearing area is divided into the middle dented face-up sleeping head bearing area and the side sleeping head bearing area whose sides are higher. The said neck bearing area is divided into the face-up sleeping neck bearing area set in the middle and the side sleeping neck bearing area set on both sides of the said face-up sleeping neck bearing area. The height of the said the side sleeping neck bearing area is not lower than that of the said face-up sleeping neck bearing area. The adjustable sleeping pillow in the present invention that makes the body pressure balanced has a standalone head bearing area and neck bearing area, which can avoid random movement of fillers to ensure the stability of the pillow shape; moreover, the head bearing area is provided with the face-up sleeping and side sleeping bearing areas at different heights, which make a human head feel naturally comfortable while a person is sleeping. The neck bearing area can make the neck closely fit to the sleeping pillow during side sleeping and face-up sleeping giving the neck a mild support force.

摘要: A spring mattress comprises a plurality of interconnected coil springs enclosed in casings, the springs having a first and a second end, wherein for at least one of the springs, casing portions arranged at the first and second ends of the spring are connected to each other through the spring by a joint. The joined casing portions comprise openings through the spring. Pieces of foam material are arranged in the openings, so that a first portion of each piece of foam material extends towards the first end of the spring and a second portion of each piece of foam material extends towards the second end of the spring. An apparatus and method for manufacturing such a mattress are also disclosed.

摘要: In order to manufacture an innerspring unit comprising pocketed springs and having an increased stability at its edge regions, in a first step, an innerspring main body comprising a plurality of first strings of pocketed springs is provided. In a subsequent second step, at least one second string of pocketed springs is attached to a lateral surface of the innerspring main body, so that the at least one second string of pocketed springs extends in a longitudinal direction of the innerspring main body. The springs of the at least one second string of pocketed springs have a spring characteristic or a spring geometry different from the springs of the plurality of first strings of the innerspring main body. The at least one second string of pocketed springs forms together with the innerspring main body the innerspring unit.

摘要: In described examples, a cushioning unit assembler includes first, second, third, and fourth rows of welding heads, a transport, and a feed module. The welding heads have a welding position and a retracted position. A main axis of the welding heads is oriented in a first dimension while in the welding position. The transport is disposed above the rows of welding heads. The transport has a main axis oriented in a second dimension perpendicular to the first dimension. The feed module includes a pocketed spring intake and a pocketed spring outflow. The transport is mechanically coupled to enable the feed module to move in the second dimension along a scope of movement. An exit aperture of the outflow vertically aligns with welding heads of the first row that are in the welding position, and vertically aligns with welding heads of the second row that are in the welding position.

摘要: Articles (100, 200, 300, 400) are described herein. An example article may comprise a first surface (404) comprising a first lattice. The example article may comprise a second surface (406) at least partially spaced from the first surface (404) and having at least one common terminal connection point with the first surface (404). The first surface (404) may comprise a second lattice. The first surface (404) and the second surface (406) may define a cavity (407) therebetween. The first surface (404) and the second surface (406) may be capable of being deformed from a first state to a second state under a compression force to constrict a volume of the cavity. The first surface (404) and the second surface (406) may be capable of returning to the first state when the compression force is released.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a seat cushion receives data of a specific occupant. A seat cushion is designed from the occupant data. The seat cushion is provided with a cellular structure from the occupant data. Another method for manufacturing a seat cushion receives boundary conditions for a seat cushion. Applicable mechanical properties are determined for the boundary conditions of the seat cushion. Applicable thermal properties are determined for the boundary conditions of the seat cushion. A seat cushion is designed with a varying cellular structure to satisfy the applicable mechanical properties and the applicable thermal properties.

摘要: Resilient cores preferably for inflatable bodies having resilient slabs that define a plurality of generally columnar holes or resilient arrays of generally columnar solids, methods for making such slabs and arrays, and articles incorporating the same wherein the cores further includes thermal transmission mitigation means for improving a core's resistance to heat transfer beyond the core's innate insulative properties. Non-exclusive and non-exhaustive examples of such thermal transmission mitigation means in slab core embodiments include consideration to hole or bore geometric cross section, frequency, pattern and orientation, the introduction of a thermal barrier at or within at least some holes or bores, and/or slab material selection/treatment. Non-exclusive and non-exhaustive examples of such thermal transmission mitigation means in array core embodiments include consideration to the geometric cross section, frequency (density), pattern and orientation of the solids, the introduction of thermal barriers within inter-solid spaces and/or solid material selection/treatment.
