Abstract: The present disclosure provides a novel metal organic framework and a gas adsorbing material containing the metal organic framework. The metal organic framework in one aspect of the embodiment contains zinc (Zn) and at least one ligand selected from 4-methylimidazole (4-MeIm), imidazole (Im), and benzimidazole (BzIm). When a mole ratio of the 4-MeIm, Im, and BzIm is x:y:z (4-MeIm:Im:BzIm), the mole ratio x:y:z falls within a polygonal region (including on a boundary line) having the following vertices in a ternary composition diagram: A (1:0:0), B (0.608:0.392:0), C (0.407:0.441:0.152), D (0.278:0.496:0.226), E (0:0.613:0.387), F (0:0.388:0.612), G (0.221:0.277:0.502), H (0.455:0.117:0.428), and I (0.563:0:0.437).

Abstract: Modified zeolites may include a microporous framework including a plurality of micropores having diameters of less than or equal to 2 nm. The microporous framework may include at least silicon atoms and oxygen atoms. The modified zeolite may include a plurality of mesopores having diameters of greater than 2 nm and less than or equal to 50 nm, wherein the plurality of mesopores are ordered with cubic symmetry. The modified zeolite may include a plurality of titanium atoms each bonded to four bridging oxygen atoms, wherein each of the bridging oxygen atoms bonded to the titanium atoms bridges one of the plurality of the titanium atoms and a silicon atom of the microporous framework.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for preparing an aluminosilicate zeolite having AFT framework structure, which includes (1) providing a synthesis mixture comprising (A) a source for Al2O3, (B) a source for SiO2, (C1) a source for first organic structure directing agent comprising a N, N, N, N′, N′, N′-hexaethyl alkylenediammonium cation, and optionally a source for second organic structure directing agent comprising a cation selected from (C2-i) quaternary ammonium cations of formula (I), (C2-ii) piperidinium cations of formula (II), and (C2-iii) pyrrolidinium cations of formula (III), and (2) subjecting the synthesis mixture to crystallization conditions to form an AFT zeolite, wherein the formula (I), (II) and (III) are as defined in the description and claims. The present invention also relates to an SCR catalyst composition comprising an aluminosilicate zeolite having AFT framework structure and a promoter metal, and use of the aluminosilicate zeolite for selective catalytic reduction of nitrogen oxides.

Abstract: Provided are: a hydrocarbon adsorbent capable of adsorbing hydrocarbons, storing the adsorbed hydrocarbons up to a relatively high temperature, and desorbing the adsorbed and stored hydrocarbons at a relatively high temperature; an exhaust gas purifying catalyst composition using the same; an exhaust gas purifying catalyst; and a method for treating an exhaust gas. The hydrocarbon adsorbent comprises a zeolite having an MRT-type framework structure. The hydrocarbon adsorbent comprises a small-pore zeolite having a total desorption amount ZD1 of propylene desorbed at 50° C. or higher and lower than 300° C. being 3.5 mmol/g or less and a total desorption amount ZD2 of propylene desorbed at 300° C. or higher and 500° C. or lower being 0.5 mmol/g or more, per 1 g by mass of the small-pore zeolite, when adsorbing propylene at 50° C. and then heating from 50° C. to 500° C. under the condition of 10° C./min by a temperature-programmed desorption method.
