摘要: Disclosed is a method for preparing a solid material including manganese, the method including the following steps: a. bringing into contact an aqueous effluent including manganese, for example at least 5 mg/L, typically at least 5 to 50 mg/L, and preferably 7 to 25 mg/L of manganese, with an oxidizing agent, manganese, preferably at a temperature between 10° C. and 50° C., and obtaining an oxidized aqueous solution; b. adding a base to the oxidized aqueous solution obtained at the end of step a) until a pH of between 8 and 12, preferably greater than 9, and preferably from 9 to 10.5, and obtaining a solution including a precipitate; c. filtration of the solution obtained at the end of step b); and d. obtaining a solid material including manganese, and especially manganese (IV) and/or Mn (III).

摘要: A long life catalyst is provided that is conveniently and inexpensively capable of being produced and that is highly active and has inhibited metal leakage. According to aspects of the present invention, a catalyst is provided that includes: a polymer including a plurality of first structural units and a plurality of second structural units; and metal acting as a catalytic center, wherein at least part of the metal is covered with the polymer, each of the plurality of first structural units has a first atom constituting a main chain of the polymer and a first substituent group bonded to the first atom, a second atom included in each of the plurality of second structural units is bonded to the first atom, and the second atom is different from the first atom, or at least one of all substituent groups on the second atom is different from the first substituent group.

For example, in certain embodiments, the disclosure provides a calcined solid phosphoric acid catalyst composition that includes phosphoric acid and silicon phosphates, and in which (i) one or more promoters each selected from the group consisting of boron, bismuth, tungsten, silver and lanthanum is present; (ii) the composition is a calcined product of a formable mixture including silica-alumina clay, silica fiber and/or silica alumina fiber; or (iii) the composition is a calcined product of a formable mixture including fumed silica.

摘要: A process utilizing a micro-emulsion is described. The micro-emulsion formed by contacting an ionic liquid, a co-solvent, a hydrocarbon, an optional surfactant, and an optional catalyst promoter to form the micro-emulsion. The micro-emulsion comprises a hydrocarbon component comprising the hydrocarbon and an ionic liquid component comprising the ionic liquid. The ionic liquid comprises a halometallate anion and a cation. The co-solvent has a polarity greater than a polarity of the hydrocarbon. The ionic liquid is present in an amount of 0.05 wt % to 40 wt % of the micro-emulsion. A product mixture comprising a product is produced in a process zone containing the micro-emulsion.

摘要: An ethylene oligomerization system is useful for creating 1-butene from ethylene in the presence of an ethylene oligomerization catalyst. The ethylene oligomerization system includes an internal baffle single pass reactor, a separation system and an external motion driver. The external motion driver is operable to induce unsteadiness in the flow of the process fluid contained in the internal baffle single pass reactor by transferring motion into the process fluid. An ethylene oligomerization process is useful for creating a refined 1-butene product from ethylene using the ethylene oligomerization system.

摘要: A micro-emulsion and a method of making the micro-emulsion are described. The micro-emulsion composition includes more than about 50 vol % of an oil phase and polar structures. The oil phase comprises a hydrocarbon component and a co-solvent, and the polar structures comprise an ionic liquid. The ionic liquid comprises a halometallate anion and a cation which is at least slightly soluble in the hydrocarbon component or in the co-solvent. The micro-emulsion can optionally include a surfactant, and a catalyst promoter. The co-solvent has a polarity greater than the polarity of the hydrocarbon, and the co-solvent is miscible in the hydrocarbon.

摘要: This application provides an apparatus for making a hydrocarbon with a reduced amount of an organic halide, comprising: a. a process unit comprising an effluent port, that produces and discharges the hydrocarbon comprising the organic halide; and b. a halide removal vessel with an inlet that feeds the hydrocarbon from the process unit, wherein the halide removal vessel comprises an anhydrous metal chloride and in which the hydrocarbon comprising the organic halide is contacted with the anhydrous metal chloride under anhydrous conditions to produce a contacted hydrocarbon having from 50-100 wt % of a total halide in the hydrocarbon removed.
