摘要: Described herein are methods for converting toluene to benzene and xylene. The methods include contacting a stream comprising toluene with a hierarchical zeolite catalyst in the presence of hydrogen gas to produce the benzene and xylene via toluene disproportionation. The hierarchical zeolite catalyst includes mesoporous Mordenite. The mesoporous Mordenite includes a plurality of mesopores and at least a portion of the plurality of mesopores are uniformly arranged in an MCM-41 framework.

摘要: An integrated process for upgrading a hydrocarbon oil feed stream includes solvent deasphalting the hydrocarbon oil stream; processing the heavy residual hydrocarbons in a gasification unit to form syngas and gasification residue; hydrotreating the deasphalted oil stream to form a C3-C4 hydrocarbon stream, a light C5+ hydrocarbon stream, and a heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; dehydrogenating the C3-C4 hydrocarbon stream to form propylene and butylene; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the light C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; passing at least a portion of the light steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, the heavy steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, or both to a product separator to produce a olefin product stream, a naphtha product stream, and a BTX product stream; and processing the naphtha product stream in the aromatics complex to produce benzene and xylenes.

摘要: In accordance with one or more embodiments herein, an integrated process for upgrading a hydrocarbon oil feed stream utilizing a delayed coker, steam enhanced catalytic cracker, and an aromatics complex includes solvent deasphalting the hydrocarbon oil stream; delayed coking the heavy residual hydrocarbons; hydrotreating the delayed coker product stream and the deasphalted oil stream to form a light C5+ hydrocarbon stream and a heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the light C5+ hydrocarbon stream; steam enhanced catalytically cracking the heavy C5+ hydrocarbon stream; passing at least a portion of the light steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, the heavy steam enhanced catalytically cracked stream, or both to a product separator to produce a olefin product stream, a naphtha product stream, and a BTX product stream; and processing the naphtha product stream in the aromatics complex to produce benzene and xylenes.

摘要: A process is provided for utilizing polypropylene-containing waste plastic. The process provides pyrolyzing a plastic feed in a pyrolysis reactor to obtain a pyrolysis effluent stream. The process further provides passing the pyrolysis effluent stream to a distillation column to obtain a C9 hydrocarbons rich stream which is also dimethylheptenes rich and then passing the C9 hydrocarbons rich stream to a reforming unit to provide a reformate stream. The process further provides passing the reformate stream to a transalkylation unit to provide a mixed-xylenes stream.

摘要: Embodiments of zeolite composite catalysts and methods of producing the zeolite composite catalysts are provided, where the methods comprise dissolving in an alkaline solution a catalyst precursor comprising at least one mesoporous zeolite while heating, stirring, or both to yield a dissolved zeolite solution, where the mesoporous zeolite has a molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 of at least 30, where the mesoporous zeolite comprises zeolite beta, adjusting the pH of the dissolved zeolite solution, aging the pH adjusted dissolved zeolite solution to yield solid zeolite composite from the dissolved zeolite solution, and calcining the solid zeolite composite to produce the zeolite composite catalyst, where the zeolite composite catalyst has a mesostructure comprising at least one disordered mesophase and at least one ordered mesophase, and where the zeolite composite catalyst has a surface area defined by the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) analysis of at least 600 m2/g.

The aromatic feed can be converted in the presence of a catalyst that includes a silica binder, a mixture of a first zeolite having an MEL framework (such as ZSM-11 and/or an MFI framework (such as ZSM-5), and a second zeolite having an MOR framework, such as mordenite, particularly a mordenite synthesized using TEA or MTEA as a structure directing agent, and a metal. The catalyst can further include one or more metals supported on the catalyst.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a process for preparing linear alkyl benzne (LAB). The process comprises alkylation of benzene with an alkylating agent in the presence of an ionic liquid to obtain a first product mixture comprising a first organic phase and a first aqueous phase comprising first partially spent ionic liquid. The first organic phase is deacidified and fractionally distilled to obtain a fraction comprising LAB and a fraction comprising HAB. The fraction comprising HAB is transalkylated with benzene in the presence of the ionic liquid to obtain a second product mixture comprising a second organic phase comprising LAB and a second aqueous phase comprising second partially spent ionic liquid. The partially spent ionic liquids are regenerated, and reused in the steps of alkylation or transalkylation for at least 6 cycles.

摘要: A catalyst composition comprising (a) carrier comprising (i) 5 to 95 wt % mordenite type zeolite having a mean crystallite length parallel to the direction of the 12-ring channels of 60 nm or less and a mesopore volume of at least 0.10 cc/gram, (ii) 5 to 95 wt % ZSM-5 type zeolite; and (iii) 10 to 60 wt % inorganic binder; and (b) 0.001 to 10 wt % of one or more catalytically active metals, wherein the inorganic binder comprises titania, its preparation and its use in alkylaromatic conversion.
